I said I had the picture and just got home to be able to post, so I want to come through with that. To a lot of the personal bs you want to say here, I don't actually care about his athletic accomplishments. People can believe whatever they want on that. I think the google is clear, but whatever. What I will say, is that yes, I consider Hoops a friend, and I don't find that to be an insult that I do defend him. He reached out on here, and we met in real life. I can say that whatever you think of his posts here, and we do carry ourselves differently online, I've never known him to be unkind to people around him or anything but generous and enjoyable. I know two people in real life that I asked about him before we met, because I was a bit curious. They both vouched for him as a good guy, and that has proven out for me. We don't really hang out, we run in pretty different circles, but I appreciate his friendship. I also know people on here that don't like him for the stuff he posts. I don't argue with them about it, because they just let it go like adults and don't stalk him. I separate the person from the online persona just fine. You should learn how to do that.

I've been a little overly annoyed at this situation, so I'm going to log out of egriz for a while and take the advice I gave you, and go touch grass for a while.

I’ve had both bulletin board arguments with Hoops and personal discussions with him. I find him to be a great guy and very credible. Personally I think he does some of posts just to have fun with and irritate certain posters. And it works every time.

I personally don’t drop names much because I know so few lol. However my cousin is Derek Kellogg who played point guard for UMass (was in Final Four) and has been coaching since. My family has been much of my source information about happenings at UMass. Derek is currently coaching at Creighton but wants to get closer home.

You say Elrod is a knowledgeable poster? How can that be true...he never played the game. But I'm sure he will stop by soon to swear you are correct. Again.

I try not to doxx myself on here too badly unless I know someone. Thanks for keeping me private.

What is funny to me is that I am absolutely sure that if they (or he) met me in real life, he wouldn't talk so much. But they are better at yelling at people on the internet.
