Won’t be an early signing then which means keeping them committed until Feb.

Won’t be an early signing then which means keeping them committed until Feb.

I'm trying to figure out why a high school player would privately commit before the December signing day, but wants to hold off on signing and announcing until the later signing day. I'm not making a judgement, just trying to figure out why that might happen in this case....


-Holding out hope for a bigger/better offer?

-Parent is deployed and wants to share the moment with them after they return?

-Aunts/uncles/cousins/grandparents are cat fans and doesn't want people flipping him sh!t all break? :lol:

A casualty of the Sanders hire at Colorado is now a potential Griz recruit. This article indicates that Carson Mott, a current Colorado 2023 DL recruit, who was told by Sanders his scholarship wouldn't be offered, has a visit with Montana.

"Mott should land on his feet—he’s considering offers from Weber State, New Mexico State, Washington, Idaho, Hawaii, San Diego State, Montana and Washington State with visits scheduled at the latter three."
