Wow, a 4-star recruit with schools like Michigan and LSU listed. It would be insane if we got him, but I really do not think that will happen.

I follow LSU recruiting pretty close, and the Option #1A is Teddy Bridgewater - and it is starting to look less likely he'll be a Tiger, so they just offered Hundley as option #1B. #5 ranked QB in the nation...

So I start looking at Hundley, and which school pops up on his interest list??? MONTANA! I was shocked. A kid with this many offers does not list a school like Montana on his interest list - ever! And while I agree, this kid will never come here, it is a real tribute to the school and the coaching staff that he has UM listed.

This is the first time I ever remember a kid this highly recruited listing a FCS school in his list. Ptretty cool.

Tyler Bode (OL from Fountain Hills HS in AZ) is a BEAST. I'd be shocked if he dropped to the Griz, given some of the schools that have showed serious interest.

ADD WR Taylor Altringer Tualatin, OR 6'1" 190 4.47

Yeah I can see why you'd be shocked if Bode chose to come to Montana, a school that regularly puts players in the NFL, especially OL.

It is nice to have some information earlier. I am concerned about some of the WR's listed. Sorry, but unless a guy is a great RedZone player, I hate anything less than 4.6, ditto DB's and RB's.

It depends most 40 times are coaches hand held guesses... if he is electronic timed at 4.6 he is pretty fast.

Did you know that many pro days are timed hand-held?

According to Scouts Danell Miles S has been offered by the Griz
http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=4794777

Joe Haden was on Florida's list of one of the fastest 40 times on the team with an "official" school 40 time of 4.33, then ran a 4.6 at the NFL combine. Taylor Mays was supposedly 4.2, then clocked in at 4.4.

Comparing combine times with any other kind of time is apples and oranges.

Should we count the number of offensive linemen from some of the OTHER schools that have showed serious interest in him?

Jon Smith says that the Griz O is designed to spread the ball out and make the defense make open-field tackles, "the toughest thing to do in football". This guy looks like the kind of player the Griz would rather not go up against.

He obviously heard we were moving sideways to the WAC... and WHO wouldn't want to play in the Tidy Bowl Bowl with that sterling 6-5 record. I think we got this kid in the bag if you ask me!
