Forgot about the Zack McRae commit. We have 5 Qb's now. I doubt they will bring in another unless they are considering moving 1 of the guys to another position.

That's HUGE, great signing. Give him a year with Gerbs, bulk him up a bit, another Bender/Hobbs in the making!

We should be 6 deep with schollie players at one position. Now that would be lame. Who do you think we are Texas?????

Better put Tweet in dark pink, he's headed to the griz.

Here is a new cornerback recruit that committed last weekend as announced by Phil Buck on KPAX tonight:

How many High School Quarter backs have played a different position in the last ten years as a Grizzly?

You can stop counting at about twenty or so.................then tell us how you feel? :x

Heard that 3 kids from same Seattle high school who visited recently were going to come to UM. Some schollie and some walk-on. Sounds like d-backs/running backs, including a returner. At least one with terrific speed.

Has anyone heard about a UW & a Oregon or Oregon State Transfer(s) to the Griz? Sorry, I have been out of it since Chatty, and not following this, and nothing really came up on a search of egriz.

I know this is a late question to ask...I guess we will know soon enough.

How bout Flathead Lineman Tyler Thomas to the Beavers, wow!!!

Congrats TT...that is pretty damn impressive.

Odds are he'll be going against Helena High's Toby Erickson in this year's AA wrestling title match. They were opponents in last year's championship match, which Erickson won by pin. This year, I believe, Thomas' only loss is to Erickson, but it was very close.

If you happen to be in Billings that weekend, I bet that match would be worth a watch.

Here is a QB that Montana and Cal Poly are after. 6'2" 185 Ken Johnston from Carmel High School. He was a four year starter. Ken threw for 2,342 yards and 27 TDs as a sophomore, 2,877 yards and 20 TDs as a Junior and 2,667 and 35 TDs and only 7 INTs as Senior. He has offers from San Diego State, Air Force and Montana.

He visited SDSU two weekends ago, Montana last week and Cal Poly this weekend. His father was the starting QB on the 1980 Cal Poly football team that won the DII National Championship. His oldest brother played at Cal Poly and his older brother will be a Jr LB on next years team.

I see that Delancotti committed to CPSLO, and the Griz have added a QB as well, wonder if this kid might be on each team's back burner right now...

Ken Johnston committed to Cal Poly on Sunday after his official visit.

Given that lineage, why would BH even bother?

Signing day is nearly anti-climatic since we know pretty much every recruit before they are announced. I actually prefer the days when we didn't know until they were announced on signing day.

There will be surprises...
