I wonder if this is the Texas small school kid that was interested in Montana who's brother posted here? Sure seems to fit the description. Nice size for a DE. I don't think we recruit Texas so this could be him.

No, come to think of it the brother said he was a 200 lb LB, so this can't be him.

I have posted this before about the Pierson kid from Twin Bridges-this is another one of those eight man football players that no one knows about (he totally flew under the radar). Clay won the 400 as a Freshmen in track (absolutely unheard of in Class C for boys). I watched him run down some Drumond running backs from 30 yards back on an 80 yard field! Pierson is tall 6'4" not 6'2" he has huge hands and long arms-he can dunk a basketball with his head at the rim-with his speed and size he will be a very capable reciever or defensive end at some point for the grizzlies (maybe next year). In 8 man football the guys play both ways so I don't know if they want him for a defensive end or receiver. This kid is a complete stud-very proud to see a Falcon (town of 500 people) play for the Griz!

Sounds like he'd be a better receiver/athletic tight end from what I've read.

If Montana just showed up on his list today then those 5 trips were most likely all scheduled prior to UM offering him. I think a prospect can only go on 5 official, paid-for visits. I don't know if he can cancel one or not, but it doesn't take an official visit to see that UM should be on top of that list.

Need a site that lists that... scout has it as Montana State and they usually are correct.

Earlier today it was listed as Montana. It changed at some point to Montana State.

You can add the leading rusher from Montana AA this year:

Steven Rominger (Sentinel High)
POS: S , QB HT/WT: 5' 10" / 190

Might be the next coming of Colt....

I was talking to a buddy of mine today that has a kid who played for Polson last year. He referred to a kid from Libby and a kid from Corvallis that he said could play D-1. Not sure who they are, to lazy to look. Does anybody know anything about this?
