GU has outstanding talent. You have to give them a lot of credit.
Adding Giacoletti to the coaching staff cerainly can't hurt either.
The greatest match up problem for the Griz will be at the wings.
I can't see us being able to match up with Downs ,etc. I hope

Well since no games have been played this year, the rankings could not have changed yet, but nice try. Also, I don't consider saying that a team isn't even ranked when they are ranked 14 a minor mistake, but if making up excuses makes you feel better about your lack of knowledge then be my guest.

Good question Den. In my humble opinion I think you need to play your own game against the Zags. Heyvelt and Kuso are tough underneath, but the Zags guard play is so good and very deep. If you go too big I think they will run up and down the floor and fast break all night on ya. :twocents:

That's what will make GU so much better this year. Quicker guards overall, and better inside play overall. Pretty good combo.

Griz don't have much of chance especially in the Kennel. I just see a ton of match-up and experience problems. You got Heyfelt, Downs, and their guard that's ton of offensive fire power with a lot of experience playing at a top 10 to 25 level. I just hope the Griz got a nice $ guarantee for the game.

That's exactly right. Strangely, the people giving the griz the smallest chance are griz fans. Nobody I've talked to in Spokane is looking past this game. Good memories, I guess. Everbody is just hoping that the players are taking it just as seriously.
