Mine is Raul Pacheco. Just always loved saying his name. Solid receiver too!

I worked with Raul Pacheco in Missoula after he finished at UM. What a GREAT guy! Very like-able.

I was always impressed with his career, being that he was pretty slender. Very good, fast player.

I would say the many high school teammates of mine that went on to star at UM (all bsc's, all-american's), but I gotta say watching Dave D sling the ball around was probably my funnest player to watch (I played wr and ss, so the passing game has always been my fav part of the game. I think it's natural to like/watch the same type players).

Good call PeytonLives on Boomer, he was a firey player, and I loved shouting BOOOOOOMER on his tackles.

Kroy Biermann's highlight videos when he was gunning for the Buchanan are still my favorites.

Bobby's comments in the beginning are awesome too, "His weight room numbers are bordering on freakish..."

Their A/V team put out awesome highlights every week back then. The current gogriz.com team should study what they did because they set the bar pretty high...

Man watching Reynolds run is just plain fun! It was good to be good...

Thanks for posting that

His balance was unreal.

If the defense learns to wrap up and not miss tackles, the robot will be my new alltime favorite griz :thumb:

A little biased, but played High School football with him and he was a friend of the family: Jody Farmer.

(yes, he was a little getting used to as a person)

Payton - He is not from the Yaak. He's from Libby.

Tru is the G.O.A.T. IMO

Man Tru was good but lets not forget...he got beat on that final play against App State to send us to the chipper in what was possibly the greatest game ever played in WaGriz.

Ball hit the receiver right in the hands..he just dropped it.

BOB O,billovitch. AKA Squeeky as a safety would knock your dick in the dirt, On the Flip side would make first downs on guts alone. Really good Short stop, and was a damn good point guard. and one helluva competitor.

Lex Hilliard, chase Reynolds, jimmy wilson, colt Anderson, Marc Mariani, DD (obviously), Ryan bagley, trumaine Johnson, kroy biermann, Jordan Johnson.......those are my favorites, and it'd be tough to decide which I like best....

I liked watching Mike Rice in the mid 80's. Punter and receiver, I remember watching him run a fake punt out of the end zone for a long run at Dornblaser Field. Now that dates me.

Washington-Grizzly Stadium opened on Oct. 18, 1986, for a game against Idaho State. The Grizzlies won 38-31, starting out fast with a little Pease and Rice.

“I made the first touchdown in that stadium,” Rice said. “I’ll always get to keep that.”
