Well, how did we do on the 2nd time through?

Rebounding? Lost that one 34-28 - Nope
Turnovers? Lost that one 13-11 - Nope
Free Throws? 12-15, 80% - Check
Offensive Rebounds Allowed? 10 - Nope (led to 15 second chance points)
Points off Turnovers? 9 - check, certainly better than ZERO
Opponent Points off TO’s? 7 - better

Reality is this: Win the Rebounding battle under the opponent’s basket (or improve the numbers even a little bit) and we’re 2-0 despite all the other flaws. It directly cost us this game, and significantly contributed to the loss on Thursday.

Agree except you forgot about 5 lazy passes that led to unforced TOs. Add that to 5 offensive rebounds allowed because our guards particularly don't put a body on their guy and you give them 10 extra possessions, more than enough to get the result of both games. The good thing is both problems are very fixable.

1, you can’t get rebounds on the front end of 2 shots at the line, 2, you can’t force turnovers while they are shooting fts, 3, 52% is fucking awful. 4 you can’t get turnovers or rebounds when your opponent is at the ft line all game you fucking troll, you can’t bitch about all those stats without acknowledging the ft situation, also lost by 1, and that was not a foul with 3 sec left, your a big sky conference troll, here for damage control

Bitch about being out rebounded 36-32
Bitch about having more turnovers 13-9
Bitch about only making 52% of our FT’s (9/17)
Bitch about giving up 13 offensive rebounds
Bitch about getting 0 points off TO’s
Bitch about giving UP 13 points off TO’s

Change some of the shit we can control, and it wouldn’t matter about the refs.

Well, you’re onto me. I’m a deep plant, sent here in 2007, to build up 25,000+ posts, JUUUST in case at some point the refs needed defending. I’m solely here for conference damage control. :lol: :lol:

Let’s see how the Griz did against UW:

Outrebounded? Yes, but just by 1, 35-34 Check
Turnovers? Won that battle, 16-12 Check
Free Throws? 22-27, or 81% Big CHECK
Offensive Rebounds Given Up? 10, but got 9 themselves - CHECK
Points off Turnovers? Essentially even, 13-14. CHECK

Needless to say, the Griz improved in EVERY. SINGLE. AREA. That they could control. There were still 45 fouls called in this game, but it was even (22 - 23), not skewed against the Griz. The controlled what they could control, and came out with a victory against a PAC-12 team. All this despite a subpar game from our emerging superstar, Kyle Owens.

It ain’t rocket science, fellas.
