Credit it the offense? They self destructed damned near every time the got into the red zone. They play that way against good competition and the score won’t be so favorable.

I wouldn’t say we’re bitching. You think Hauck will be singing our praises? Anybody who watched the game knows we are a damned good team, but they also know we have many things to work on, and I’m sure haick will be saying so in the post game presser. It’s a good place to be at 2-0. We’re good but can be much much better. Go Griz!!!

Exactly. It ain't all flowers and rainbows here in eGrizland, Ida. I'm happy to be 2-0, but if that had been the OTHER south dakota team, I don't think we'd have fared as well. It's the SELF-inflicted wounds that irritate me the most...the false start on 1st & goal. The inattentive QB and the missed snap losing 17 yards on 1st & Goal at the 2. The missed XP. The miss of White wide open in the end zone, etc., etc. I have way less issue with the Bergen fumble, as it happened TO us, not BY us. That game should have been waay less close than it was.

Dixie State and SUU last season were way worse.

I guess we're really back to normal now that we're complaining about 3-score wins over borderline top 25 teams. :lol:

Actually I think the poster child is is our 20-19 win over SUU last season. I agree it wasn’t the greatest performance offensively, but the opportunities were there to make it out of hand.

Dominating win with the result never in doubt — really from the first play — over a playoff team. Yes, there were some self-inflicted errors which kept this from being a 46-0 type game, but that was pure domination over a very good football team.

And there’s nothing ugly about that.

Except for that goofy two-point conversion try. Either line up in a normal set and ram it down their throat or kick the damn ball!
