nice article on him in this morning's paper. they usually devote one page to high school athletics each day, and today's article is the feature and takes up more than half the page. as always, it proclaims, "montana-bound."

Ihope he does as well this week end. Westchester is very strong. Still, I think Cherry and the other kid will take home the trophy this year.....Dominguez High was the great team from the South this year...

hoping for mack but think it's westchester. they just play a much tougher schedule, compete against a higher level of talent in southern california. but--a real stage for cherry to strut his stuff. and--i don't think the norcal kids get the pub the socal kids do.
