Wife and I were gonna take our 3 boys to the Lady Griz game tonight versus NAU. Went to GoGriz.com to purchase tickets. Game day tickets in the upper section, cheapest ticket was $13.00 each plus $1.75 online purchase fee per ticket. That would be $73.75. If we got any concessions that'd put it at well over $100 for 2 hours of entertainment. I already spend a fortune on tickets and associated costs to attend all the football games in the fall. I'm not spending $100 plus to watch a single basketball game. If they'd bring back the GA bleachers, I might consider it, but to me $14.75 per ticket for basketball is a little steep. And no I don't flip burgers AZ but our household has pretty considerable monthly medical costs so we do have to ration our disposable income strategically. FWIW we rarely go to the movie theater anymore either. I'll watch the men's and women's game (one on the laptop) via ESPN+ at home spend nothing more than the $9.99 a month for ESPN+.
