Year End Presser

It was a terrific interview. The favorite team he's ever coached, and he's had some good ones. Loved the guys. Great dudes. He didn't make any excuses. Said they need to stop coming up short. The comments saying that are total BS. They have a fairly young team and have a lot of good players coming back. Now, recruiting and the game has changed. You recruit to put the best team on the field for the next fall. Said they made some mistakes and some bad calls against NDSU (I think he was talking the D), but that's all there. Said they need to fix some things regarding defending MSU. The 2 teams had different running games.

And they both ate our lunch :(

Sounds like everything is honky dory in Missoula. If not for the schedule, the refs, and injuries gris would be National Champs! I don’t remember Bobby 1.0 ever complaining about the schedule!
Nor did he in this. Of course you didn't watch it but grabbed onto a convenient component for your narrative

Thanks for the breaking news.

Just out of curiosity, what did you guys want him to say? "Ya I'm planning on firing Rosy and Germer" he's not gonna say that publicly, nobody is gonna say that publicly regardless of what industry they work in. Like it or not, he does kind of have a point about playing 4 of the top 5 teams in the country on the road in a span of 7 weeks. Do you know how many other teams in the FCS had to do that this year? 0! We were the only team that had to do that! Now that's not an excuse to lose all of them, you have to find a way to win at least 1 or 2 of them, but I'd be curious to see if there's any FCS program that could get through that unscathed, because I bet there isn't.

And if you think he's gonna give you any kind of clues as to who their recruiting, for starters he can't comment on specific recruits as that's an NCAA violation but of course he's gonna try and be as vague as possible so other schools don't get an idea as to who we're recruiting. Everybody needs to lighten up a little bit and take a deep breath! Things are going to sort themselves out over the next few weeks.

This. Was starting to think I was the only person who gets it.

Bobby2 seems more comfortable with losing than Bobby1.

Yes he does, 1.0 would have never said any of the BS excuses 2.0 uses.
You haven't come up with a single credible excuse that he's used. Actually, extending the thought, you haven't come up with a single credible post.
