Wyoming basketball suspends 5 players on the eve of the Mountsin West Conference tourney for "failing to meet expectations of Cowboy Basketball".

Reported in Billings gazette yesterday.

Ouch.

Not a huge loss other than depth at the tournament.. hopefully they'll learn not to be dumbasses again. No one's every going to accuse Larry Shyatt of being soft, booting 5 bench players before the conference tournament is showing some onions.

Well, sometimes when you graduate five seniors, four of them starters, you go from winning your conference tournament and a 12 seed in the NCAA tournament to 8th in your conference with one senior and two juniors as your core.

Well, sometimes when you graduate five seniors, four of them starters, you go from winning your conference tournament and a 12 seed in the NCAA tournament to 8th in your conference with one senior and two juniors as Maybe, this coach can make a better team. If he was going to make a move with recruiting, this made it easier.
