Looks like Wyo has set a home and home with Montana in Basketball for next year. At least according to the Wyo new head coach

Nice! Hope it turns into something more regular than in the past. I suppose that will only happen if they beat us a lot, like CSU...

Perfect! Not only regional, but competition with a Mountain West opponent on a home & home basis. Also an ideal non-conf competition setting that provides conference-like environment.

This will be a fun series and beneficial for both teams. For Wyoming it'll dump Montana State off the schedule (along w/ their RPI) and will be a good D1 opponent. For Montana, RPI doesn't have as much of an effect since the BSC is a one-bid league, but sure beats having a bunch of Carroll like teams on the schedule. If you're a hardcore hoops fan you can travel to both games somewhat easily.

Carroll won two games at the NAIA nationals to make the Elite 8. I agree NAIA not the best scheduling for Griz but Carroll also played Cal Berkeley, Stanford and Pacific this year. That said, WYO home and home series seems a natural and good one for Griz and WYO both.

True dat. I attempted the "Drink The Buckhorn Dry" game there. I didn't win.

Sure would be great if we could get an Oregon State or a Utah to play us home and home. Do we have any contacts there?

Why would Louisville play @ Grand Canyon? Why would Stanford play @ Missoula? Relationships.

This is great. This would be a fun trip to make to watch the GRIZ. The problem is the time of the year when roads and weather could make travel difficult.

Louisville is playing at GCU for a big fat payout.....GCU is loaded and willing to deal paper.....

Isn't Louisville/GCU a home and home?

It's actually a 2 for 1.
