Somehow I knew it would be a close one. You guys have a bright future with those two bigs and Will Cherry. I'm officially a Montana fan now. My dad is also from there originally, as well. Much respect to your team and fans. Enjoyed the banter. And, NO, I wouldn't be in a good mood if we lost either. Sorry someone had to end there season tonight. I'll be cheering for you next year, though!

Awesome Game Griz!!! Johnson didn't do as much as expected but you all showed us you are a complete team!!! Like I said back at the Lair, you now have a Lobo nation supporting you in the future!

I would love to see UW or UNM make a serious run in the tourney.... ESPN does a terrible job covering teams from the west and the more success western teams the better imo.... go lobos and go huskies....whoever advances I hope you destroy some teams from the east!
 
I'm hoping UNM wins that game. In fact I hope they win it by 20 :) Either way, I agree with Baller.. It'd be nice to see some of the teams in the West get some big wins against the eastern teams this tournament.
 
Great game Grizz... Much love on the Banter. I cant say how impressed I am with What Tinkle has done at Montana and you guys will definately make a deep run next year..

If Tinkle utilizes the bigs like he did tonight, WATCH OUT!!!

Washington is more to out style and match up, that game will be high scoring.. Their our size and play up tempo like us.. We will do our best so you can say the team that made the run is the one that took you out.. No loss in vain..

Good win UNM... AJ was just off in this game... No fault to him, I wouldn't have done any better, I can guarantee that... I hope his game against Weber is enough to convince pro scouts that this game was just a fluke...

I would prefer UNM beats the Huskies, and I am from Seattle... But no matter who wins, I hope they go far... Congrats to UNM and keep Rocking :thumb:

Tinkle outcoached Alford tonight. And the Grizzlies executed that game plan well. Lobos have been winning these games all year. Not fun to be a Lobo fan until the final buzzer.

I saw most the game and it looked like neither team was at the top of their game, but that was in part due to each team making the other look a bit worse than usual. Tough fough game that each side had opportunities to fold but neither did. When we opened up a lead early in the 2nd half I thought it was over but the Griz played tough and gave us a hell of a game.

Best wishes for a good program and I hope all of your incoming recruits exceed expectations.

On a parting note: I only met a few of you, some on here and some on our board, but as a group you have a great bunch of fans. Knowledgable, supportive, and able to have good rivalry discussions. I would love to see a H/H series as much because I'd like to see the Griz fans invade the Pit and also have a reason to get to Montana, one of the few states I have not been to. I suspect in either city it would make for a wild weekend. As a group you remind me of the Wyoming fans, who are my second favorite bunch after the Lobo fans.
