Not really. What's wrong with premium content from BWahlberg and PaytonLives?

I mean no offense to these guys, because I think they do a great job and appreciate what they do. However when you have a person whose only responsibility is to write about the team, you're going to get more quality content. Brint does a great job getting information, but unless I'm mistaken, I don't see him interviewing coaches/players. Payton also does a good job, but a lot of that (not all, but a bit) is just plugging stuff into a search browser and copying and pasting it here. I certainly appreciate what both of them do, but I for one would really enjoy/appreciate somebody like Colter on this site.

Sorry, there I go again, trying to be funny. :ugeek: However, I do really appreciate what both those guys do for us.

Is Colter still going to be given the access to the programs like he was when he was working for the paper? Because right now he is nothing more than BWahlberg. Before he had permission to attend practices, interview players, get inside info. Does he even have that anymore?

Yeah, I think he still can get "Press" access, just like any other reporter.

So what makes him a "reporter"? He apparently now works for an Internet blog/forum. So is AlphaGriz a reporter cause he owns maroonblood? I don't get why he would have special access to the team.

hell if I know, but I do know that Tom Stuber gets press credentials due to his association with BN, I think they can also get them and be a free lance reporter, perhaps there is some association that they belong to.

i think it is up to the coaches who they allow access to. there is no good reason to not continue giving this access to colter. he has proved his worth big time. and it's not like we have some agreement with the chronicle. not to mention his relationship with the players seems to be very good. i think it benefits the entire program whether he is with the chronicle or not.
