We are so blessed to have him playing for our Griz!! Well deserved.

Go Griz!
Couldn't agree more. Blessing to have him, by all accounts a great dude and what a player. High character, high performer. Quickly becoming an all time favorite!

Credit to bobby and staff for getting him on board... QB club prior to ewash last year, Bobby identified him as a real problem, mostly in special teams, but also as qb. Crazy EWU didn't use him more, and credit to bobby and staff for identifying his talent and being aggressive in recruiting him to be a GRIZ.

Is that technically "allowed"? Or are you saying AFTER he entered the portal? wink wink

All I said was that he reminded me of - I never said he was better!
And all I did was note that there are many better WRs to compare him. I in no way suggested you thought JLM was better because that would be a foolish statement, a silly notion to even entertain.

Bobby says he is a very smart football player too. Learns very fast.
And all so wonderful, as I understand he's a home boy from SAC, apparently had around 50 family/friends watching the game! Snubbed by SAC St twice. Go's to play against that team to show them how honestly wrong they were!!! Glad they were wrong, our right guy, one of the best Bobby picks ever! "Mr. W Goes To Town!"

In the post-game interview, MW said that Sac St snubbed him three times--out of high school, out of JC, and out of the portal. They told him they didn't have enough money for him.

This was a no brainer, Wortham dominated again.

Griz have had some damn good players over the years but has there ever been anyone MORE dynamic than Wortham?

Baker, Douglas, Heidelberger, Seegars, Van, Reynolds, Yo, JLM, Bergen etc

Another thing about Wortham and Davis is their route running. I challenge anyone to find 2 better route runners on a single Griz team of the past. These guys pass the eye test when it comes to being precise and both possess the ability to get separation from defenders by changing angles of the route. They are very aware of the where to be when beating zone or cover 2.

It is cool to watch and at the same time we now have a QB that can get them the ball consistently
