He’s the most skilled player in the league. I don’t think it’s close at this point. He can score from any offensive position. What a fun player to watch!

At the start of the season someone said he would be at least as good if not better than junior Bergen. At the time it seemed impossible, but That's turning out to be true.
Wortham is definitely a better WR and all around player but, Bergen is definitely a better returner.

Said it the other day. If I’m choosing between Bergen or Wortham, I’m not sure I can make a case for Bergen. Love the kid, but wortham is the type of athlete the FCS does not often get, let alone keep. He has twitch that few at this level have. Already one of the lost electric griz players I can remember. Wish he could get those Juco years back like some are doing now. Be great to have him out there again for a another season
He should be hands down the leading candidate to win it right now. Is he even on the watch list? He better be added quickly if not. He is doing things that a lot of FCS players just don’t or can’t do.

For all of his physical gifts like his instant acceleration the likes I haven't seen wearing a Montana jersey. Change of direction at full speed is insane. Elite top end speed. Great hands. Etc. Its his football IQ that impresses me most. He came in and immediately knew the play book for essentially 5 positions and there was no transfer adjustment period time you often see. Kid is a football genius. His intelligence is off the charts. Add the dance moves and mega-watt smile. We've got a star unlike anything the FCS has seen in years.

If Eastern had used him correctly, he would’ve been recruited by some big schools. Because Eastern sucks so bad, we won the lottery with the 2025 Walter Payton award winner Mikey Wortham. This is going to go down as one of the greatest single season performances in Montana Grizzly history!
