Not necessarily related to FCS, but it's the off season. Interesting article from bleacher report today....

Been going on forever. Since SMU, NCAA has been feckless. They only cherry pick programs they know will not be a problem. No way in hell they take on Bama or Florida St.. Look at all the bullshit around Winston that went by the wayside. Cam at Auburn being clean. Joke.

good read. thanks for sharing.

Risk/reward of cheating as a big time college football/bball coach reminds me of the risk reward of PEDs in baseball. There's so much money involved.

A couple good seasons without getting caught and you could set your family up for life.

From another sport, but totally applies ... from the late Tark the Shark: "The NCAA was so mad at Kentucky they gave Cleveland State two more years of probation."

Howard Cosell thought Division III was the only real college football division because it is non-scholarship.

On the flip side, here is a coach whose philosophy is well grounded. He will soon be a head coach at a school in one of the power conferences.

Great read. I've heard his name mentioned for Oregon and some other coaching jobs, but I had no idea who he was. Sounds like a great dude.
