Word on the streets...

Didn't even think to check about that, I'll have to ask my sources.

Of course the next question would be if the eggs were scrambled or not. Because if they were scrambled it means he's changing positions to play WR.

Pretty sure if he ordered his eggs sunny side-up it means JJ will be scrapping playing football in favor of joining Kim Jong, Psi and Dennis Rodman at the burning man festival for a reality based show.

Everyone! please, just relax. Jordan Johnson is not going anywhere, and they did not totally scrap the old offense. They wil be using a pro-style offense that will still allow Jordy to do all the things he did in the past. After reading many of the posts, I decided to call my son who is on the team and asked him what is truly going. He told me exactly what was going on, and encourage me to stop reading some of the posts because so many of you have no idea what is going and what you're talking about. I will continue to read the posts while ignoring some of the crazy stuff that is posted. God's blessings to all in Griz Nation.

I am sooo glad I did not post to this thread or give it any credibility whatsoever by reading it ...

No, wait!!

Based on what I've seen for the 2014 recruiting coaches have already expressed interest in 2 more dual threat QBs. So if they were going back to the old offense wouldn't they be looking at pro style QBs?

Wow... after ten daze of vacation and relaxation and hoping to come home to some sanity, I read this thread? A QB that ranked in the bottom 2/3rd's of the conference his only season, couldn't complete 60% of passes DESPITE completing 5-10 bubble screens per game, and couldn't throw a ball 30 yards past the line of scrimmage, is considered the best in the nation and taking a badly coached, scatter-brained offense, weak-DB defense to the national championship. (Sigh***) And here I thought I was coming back to reality... but when did reality ever apply to EGriz??

Man, time for a little sanity. Listen to Grizmayor tell you that if JJ has been working out and gained an extra 10 yards distance in passing, he's still only passing it a maximum of 15 yards. You go, mayo!

You should try reading this thread without vacation...

Doesn't the playbook change a little bit every season anyway? He missed a season & there is a new coach... I would expect some variation from the 2011 playbook anyway...

Word is from RE that they will use only the 2011 playbook AND only the plays that went for losses. They will also be scrapping out the stadium lighting system & bringing back the Silvertip skydivers. The new light poles will actually retract down into the ground during the pre-game festivities then return to their upright position at kick off. Also heard from the thong cleaning guy at Fred's lounge, that the sprint turf will be replaced with a clear bladed turf, so that viewing the action from the new section under the field will be unobstructed.

Do you have to join the GSA to get seat in the new underground section?

Yes, from two good sources I've heard you have to do what they are calling, "double join" the GSA and yes the cheer leading and Sugar Bear sections are already sold out.

Man, good o' "Grizmayer" even makes Coach Bud Kilmer of West Canaan look good, doesn't he?

Jonathan Moxon would have been a great QB for the Griz. And Mayor would have approved. He could throw it 70 yards on the fly, no problem. And he was originally Lance Harbour's backup!! :thumb:

Jonathan Moxon!?! No, no no, de ninguna manera. I heard it on the streets from a passerby that has a friend of a friend that's in the "know" that he'd go with Billy Bob at the QB. Nothing like a "rush in a trail of dust" - to hell with passing it; that's just some newfangled "trick" plays, anyways.

Maybe Matt Saracen has some eligibility. Word on the streets is he doesn't have much work now that "Friday Night Lights" isn't running.

Screw that we all know that Joe Kane is the guy we want. Sure he comes with some baggage, but we all know "Kane is able"
