Wish list for Spring portal

Oh we’ll lose a few. You can count on that. I was merely making a statement about the receiving corps…don’t get wrapped around the axle grinding your axe.
 
Ok well with Cade back my wish list is most secondary based then. Would love another DB and CB or two just to help with depth and push the group. If there's another experienced WR too I wouldn't say no to him getting a shot, I like a lot of what I see in Bridges and Davis but those are some young dudes and we all know how this staff likes upperclassmen in those spots.
 
I won't be complaining, if another qb isn't added. I honestly like the 3 we already have.

I'd like to see more size at DL and OL.
Also an additional 1 or to experienced dbs.

I feel the DB room is pretty crowded. If they bring someone in, someone will probably go.

OL, DL, LB, and a QB are the biggest needs. I don't feel like we have a qb capable of taking us to the Championship game right now. If we could get someone on defense that was Riley/O'Connell clone, that'd be fantastic. Definitely need a couple centers brought in. Even with Cade coming back some younger guys to learn and push him would be great.
 
Bobby told Frank Gogola after the game last night that they’ll look to add more line guys as he said you can never have too many of them. I tend to think by the time Peck, Peevy, and Solomon T all get here, that we should be good on the DL. I like all 3 of our DT’s in Ramos, Mason, and Bailey. I think we’re good there. Also, do they have Detrick playing DT or DE?

As for OL, if that’s true about Klimczak, then that’s huge! Hopefully he’s been working out on his own accord in the event he was granted this additional year and is ready to go. In that case, I think we’ve got a good starting 5 and will just need a couple depth pieces.

QB is a must for me. I’m not sold on either guy. My personal opinion is the type of QB that’s most successful in Pease’s system is a big athletic bruiser type like Cliff. Will there be a guy like that available in the portal? Hard to say, but if there is then go get him.

Should be an interesting couple weeks!

I really like what the portal has brought us already in the LB arena. They may have never suited up for the Griz yet, but there’s some established talent in that group. Same with DL.

Agreed on OL and QB.
 
With Ah Yat missing much of the spring, I don't think our QB room is any better than it was last year (and it was pretty mediocre). Not sure we have a guy on the roster who can lead us past the quarterfinals. Would love to see a powerful running QB brought in, even if just for a change of pace.

We have some real talent coming on the DL with the 2 USC guys and Peck from Carroll, so DE is fine.

We will more than likely not see Otlewski at all this season, so another LB would be nice.

Patrick Hayden was a dud last year for us in the middle, and Bailey seems to be another dud, unless he can get his conditioning up. Would love to see another 300+lb NT (tall ask, I know).

We can never have enough good OL, so would love to grab a couple there.

Saying we had dudes on our defense is laughable.
