Who are you rooting for? I am rooting for Wisconsin.

By the way, GRIZ NATION go to their FB page and wish them luck. They have one hell of a classy fan base. https://www.facebook.com/wisconsinmensbasketball?fref=ts&rf=110379932324769" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Rooting for Wisconsin but had picked Duke to win it all at the outset. I've already won my pool, so go Sconnies!

i'm picking the red shirts, for the same reason i though they'd beat kentucky: they have the experienced players, v. the one-and-dones. three, four years of maturity at that age makes a huge difference, and it showed in the kentucky game. i think it will monday as well.

oh, did i say red shirt? hah! what coincidence. exhibit "a" in my reasoning, that the only way you beat five-star freshman recruits is with maturity and experience. (give me a second to recall montana's five-star recruits....)

The Duke frosh guards played very well after Wisconsin went up 9 in the 2d half, and Wisc didn't play as well as it should have, but the refs really screwed Wisc in the 2d half. The blocking foul called on Wisc when the Duke player just ran over the stationary Wisc player was one of the worst calls I've ever seen in a championship game. Then a few minutes later, a charge was called on Wisc when the Duke player seemed to basically flop. The missed step-on the line by the Duke player late in the game was horrible. The wrong out of bounds call to Duke under the Wisc basket late in the game, when the refs missed on the monitor what was pretty clear on the tv replays (and multiple announcers said that there were 3 views that showed the ball went out the Duke player). I thought there were a couple other wrong out of bounds calls that went to Duke too, but those weren't shown on replay so I'm not sure of those. Several fouls called against Wisc earlier when the Duke guards/player initiated the contact on drives. General very aggressive defense by Duke not whistled, as the Wisc coach alluded to in an interview after the game. Bad 3d foul called against the Duke big guy too, and some other weak calls against Duke, but nothing compared to what went against Wisc.

5 star recruits= 1 and done, maybe 2 years, or fall short of expectations. Realistically, now Montana should focus on high 2 star to 3 star recruits, and compete for some 4 star recruits. I like the model of building players up that are committed to the school for 4 to 5 years (depending on redshirt year or not). I believe Travis is committed to that too. He stuck to his game plan with Boehning and DeJong this season, even though we could have used more depth in the paint. Sticking to redshirting those 2 is a great sign for the program.

As for the Duke/Wisconsin game, I enjoyed the game. It was one of the few championship games I would be happy with the outcome no matter who won. Since meeting a lot of Wisconsin fans a few years back in Albuquerque, I've pulled for Wisconsin. Their fan base is among the best in college sports. As for Duke, cannot stand how uppity the school is, but am a huge fan of Coach K. He runs things right for a major program, and is a great person as well. He is the reason I like Duke doing well.

Have a lot of respect for Coach K and like a lot of player that he has, but not a fan of Duke fans. School is full of pompous rich kids. Wisconsin fans seem to be more on par with Montana fans. I was pulling for them... Unfortunately, the refs weren't...
