Wisc-Mil Griz

Wow what a game! Even though the Griz lost, it was a great game. Just outstanding. Wisc-Mil was damn good. I think they are as good as ANY team I've ever seen in Missoula and I've seen a lot of Griz b-ball the last 15 years.

Official attendance was 7,213! I can't WAIT for conference play.

I would take Wyoming with Fennis Dembo in uniform. And Idaho when they were ranked in the top 25. And yeah, Gonzaga a few years back with Casey Calvary and the boys. But yes, Wisc/Mil is a very good team, but lets not go overboard.

Loyal, I was talking about teams the Griz played in the last 15 years. Thus I meant since 1990, and was not comparing UWM to any team the Griz played earlier including Wyoming, Idaho, and the Stanford team we played in the late '80's. I did see Gonzaga with Calvary and I was more impressed by UWM. Overall, I think UWM was more athletic and quicker than that Zags team.

That was a fun Gonzaga team to watch. I like Calvary a lot more now that he basically recruited the Aussie center for Krysko.
