Okay, so we dropped three or four balls against EWU that would have absolutely buried them, and if we do that, we’re 5-1 and in the top 15.Glendivegriz said:AZGrizFan said:Fushiznitz said:AZGrizFan said:Lest we forget it's the same ISU that has an FBS win and the same record as the Griz this year. Pump the brakes a little. All I am suggesting is a little bit of perspective. Your OP makes it sound like the Griz are World-Beaters, and the doubters should be icing their nuts. In two road wins, we have 2 quarters of good defense, against arguably mediocre teams. Having said that, I loved the second half. It gives me hope.
Go Griz, and Go Stitt! And that is no sh$t.
Again, Stitt can't win road games. When he does, the competition suddenly becomes inferior. It's a classic eGriz model....
Explain how PSU isn't a poor team? Yesterday's come back was encouraging but let's not get to high yet. ISU dropped some easy balls in the 2nd half that helped us tremendously.

Runs a clean program, is a great example for his players, he can recruit very well and he values his family. Not to mention he treats people with respect and appears to be fairly humble. It amazes me how many people forgot where the Griz truly were a few short years ago. No I am not talking about winning. I am talking about a damn dumpster fire that was largely self inflicted and Stitt had nothing to do with sanctions, coaches getting fired, players acting inappropriately or a lack of leadership at the very top of the university (Engstrom and the damn BOR). I truly hope Bob Stitt is successful. Another coaching change would result in a setback IMO. The defense has got to get better and so does special teams. Anyone who watched a game can clearly see there needs to be improvement. I am 100% positive the coaches are aware of the weaknesses. Players have to do their part as well. The team is only half way through the season. Time will tell. Until then, try to not sound like an absurd ass and just support the team. Kids are working hard and they appear to have a way better attitude than last year. Freshman QB, ton of talent on offense and hopefully this season will go well. Go Griz!!

The Weber and NAU games are back-to-back and we will likely be the underdog in both. And the others aren't gimme's. Your liking our chances to win 4 of the 5 are pretty optimistic without substantial advances in our D and ST units.uofmman1122 said:If we win our remaining home games, we are in the playoffs. I like our chances to go 4-1 from here on out. The good thing is that the two remaining teams with great defenses don’t have that great of an offense to go with it.

mtgrizfankb said:Very true. We have been seeing this year Stitt do exactly like he wanted. Smart QB running a the RPO, mobile QBs but not running QBs. OL capable of a 1000 yard rusher. Limited sacks. Aggressive WRs with a mix of speed, size and agility who we can rotate 6-7 guys. Can put up 40 on pretty much anyone and run 80+ plays a game. He's literally exactly what he said he wanted to install. He did it in 3 years.

PR, you forgot the free hotdogs some volleyball players got at a tailgate. That was the straw that broke it all (or the match to the dumpster)!PlayerRep said:Griz Man said:Copper Griz said:Maybe everyone can just calm the heck down. I like Bob Stitt. Dumpster fire. Please explain.
Pflugrad got fired. Do you blame that on anyone or anything other than Engstrom?
Sanctions were for a player mom fronting a few hundred dollars for a week, at the request of a concerned out of state grandpa, to bail out his grandson and a friend—after the cops wrongly tased and arrested them. And a lawyer that was evaluating and setting up a possible contingency fee case and-or providing a small amount of pro bono work for students, which is something they routinely did.
This is your idea of a dumpster fire?
If the second half trend continues from yesterday, I like our chances. This looks like a much better team than we’ve seen under Stitt so far.kemajic said:The Weber and NAU games are back-to-back and we will likely be the underdog in both. And the others aren't gimme's. Weber, NAU and the Cats scare the heck out of me. And I don't see NColo and UND as gimmes. Every game is going to be a dog fight.

CMT, thanks, I agree with you. It's just the"internal problems" you speak of were NOT deep and wide; there were a few, small non-issues (see above). Engstrom's cowardly, fecklace "leadership" turned a mosquito bite into gonnosyphilitus!!! He should have stood up for HIS organization, defended HIS team against the fake news attacks, and calmed the zombies. Instead, he was too chicken, so he chose to cower which fed the bleed lead frenzie. He still needs to be held accountable!!!!!!!!!!!

PSU - 30 votes that we'd lose
ISU - 9 votes that we'd lose
UND - 1 vote that we'll lose

And frankly Bobby won alot of games but HOW he won those games and HOW the big games that were lost seems to escape this group of fans. Look at the playoff record, those teams lost 3 times AT HOME in the first round. People remember Bobby Ball as physically dominating, well it was, IN THE BIG SKY conference. When they played the other conferences in the playoffs not so much. Do some research, look back at those losses. This is the partially reason why he didn't succeed at UNLV, no way could he recruit physical enough players there to beat up on a weak league. I'm not bashing the guy, he won alot of games. Don Read knew he wasn't going to out physical the other teams so he simply outscored them.

That’s some played-the-game verbiage right there, and damn sound advice. F$&k the group hug method, get the guy on the rug ASAP.
