I agree. In recent years, playing well against Eastern has been difficult. I see nothing that will change that.

Didn't vote, although I call it as I see it, something you are not capable of.
Its easy to follow the bandwagon, very difficult to be objective, because the bandwagon plays louder.

Why is it that "being objective" almost always equates to being negative? What makes positive folks any less "objective"?
remember back in the "good ol' days" when it was Washington's Grizzly Stadium ??? We owned them! We took over their "stadium", always left em with yet another loss, *sigh*.....CV Griz Fan said:putter said:beat ISU and the Cats, fall to EWU

You could argue the W/L record of the teams the Cats have beat at home, but this weekend's game will tell us if the home record is an anomaly. And the teams on the road that have beat the Cats can run well already. The griz have had trouble running the ball most of the year, and the QB's to beat the Cats are accurate and the receivers don't suffer from the drops ever. Either way, neither team will have anything to play for(my prediction) except for bragging rights

The Cats haven't played anyone good in Bozeman to be able to say that they play well at home. Basically MSU has played two DII teams (ETSU is in reality a DII or worse team), and two Big Sky teams with poor defenses. Montana is definitely better than all 4 teams the Cats have played at home thus far, but the Griz definitely have weaknesses.
DII Fort Lewis (5-4, 4-3)
Cal Poly (2-6, 1-4)
Sacramento State (2-6, 1-4)
ETSU (1-7) *lone victory over NAIA school
Like you said, this weekend will show whether the Cats play better at home. I think that Southern Utah will beat MSU this weekend in Bozeman. It'll be an interesting brawl, especially if the Griz are able to somehow win the next two games. I'm sure MSU would love nothing more than to spoil Montana's playoff hopes.

Just a reminder of what many here thought our chances were heading into the last three games of the regular season. I voted 3-0.![]()
