Wing Targeting Call

Hoops if you were all that how come you are not in the Dartmouth Athletic Hall of Fame? Sounds to me like you might be the fraud.
I am (all first team all-Ivy players are), as well as the MT Indian Athletic Hall of Fame. One of 2 corners picked for All-50 Year Team (the first 50 years of the official Ivy League conference)

"Highlighting Inductee [Hoops] from the Fort Peck Sioux nation! A stellar athlete in football, lacrosse, track and rugby where he played around the world throughout his career! Selected as one of the top 6 defensive backs in Dartmouth Greens history".

Didn't you agree to never post on egriz again, after I showed how big of a liar you were?

Dont Kick, Hoops knows football as he played in the days of the leather helmet with no face masks!
Here's my team. Ha. 1925 national champions. Turned down the Rose Bowl. Good article. Read it.

Good the mighty Ivy League, basically NAIA good job old man.
Look at the NAIA team ranked at No. 14. Look at Nos. 15, 18 and 20. Note that Alabama and Georgia aren't ranked.

"Penn State's undefeated football team which accepted bid to the Cotton Bowl last Saturday was named yesterday as winner of the Lambert Trophy “for the outstanding performance of the season by major college team in the East.

Dartmouth, which shares the Ivy League title with Cornell finished second in the voting, which is based upon 10 points for first place nine for second and so on down Dartmouth the undefeated champion of the Ivy League a year ago won the 1970 Lambert Trophy to break the string of three in a row by Penn State.

Boston College was third in yesterday's vote followed by Cornell Temple Columbia Villanova West Virginia and Army There was a tie for 10th between Harvard and Syracuse.

Led by the running of Lydell Mitchell who has established a season scoring mark of 28 touchdowns Penn State has beaten all but one of its opponents handily this fall." [Franco Harris started with Mitchell at running back prior year in 1970, when Dartmouth won the Lambert over Penn St.]

Ummmm....how can the Dartmouth 1925 national championship team be your team if this -> "No one living remembers that championship season. Its players have all died". Who's lying now?

Nice job by Wing in the 2nd half. Griz D much improved after the first 2nd half drive. Couple nice pass break ups and a pick, a bit of pressure which made qb uncomfortable and stuffed the run pretty well. Combined with a great offensive performance to pull out a thrilling late road win.

I read the game day thread and didn't see any of these comments. Seems the upcoming MSU ISU game is more important to the bitch and moaners (aka Entitled A-holes!)

Actually Dartmouth doesn’t have a specific hall of fame for football but they do have an athletic hall of fame and although there are football players who have been inducted you are clearly not one of them. They’ve had close to 50 years to select you but somehow it hasn’t happened. Still campaigning?
Your claim that because you were all league one season you are hall of fame worthy is completely crap. What football program in America puts all of their one-time all league players in their hall of fame?
Should every Griz player who was ever been named all league start claiming that they are the equivalent of the actual hall of fame members?
I’m sure you are proud of your inclusion in the Fort Peck Nation hall of fame and that you are the most famous member ever inducted but who is the next most famous inductee?
We’ve never bet on anything.

All first-team all-ivy players are considered to be in the football hall of fame. Their photos are in various places, but all of the ring the wall in the Weight room. My nephew said his weight bench was under my photo.

Dartmouth does NOT have an athletic hall of fame. The Wearers of the Green is not a hall of fame. It has specific criteria. See below. For football, it mean being an all-American, all-ivy for 3 years, or all-ivy in 3 sports. Not that many football players are in the Wearers of the Green.

I was selected to the all 50-year football team, for the first 50 years of the official Ivy League. That is the closest thing to a football hall of fame. There are deserving players since that time.

Fort Peck doesn't have an athletic hall of fame. It's the Montana Indian Athlete Hall of Fame. Tuff Harris (he and I may be the only football players, I think I was the first) , some of the Wetzel family, Mike Chavez, Malia Kipp, Kayla Lambert, Larry Pretty Weasel, JR Camel, Elvis Old Bull, Jonathan Takes Enemy, Pete Conway, Willie Weeks, Floyd Cross Guns, and some other Lady Griz. Mostly basketball players and runners. Some rodeo. If you don't think that's pretty good company, that's okay with me. Marvin Camel, the boxer.

I didn't say we bet. I said you agreed not to delete your account and never post again. I see you are back.

Jack I owe you an apology…it appears you were there.
But, I deal is a deal and this will be my last post."

And then you signed up again right after that and started posting.

So to be clear…being a member of the Wearers of Green does not represent being in the Dartmouth athletic hall of fame but being all conference once in your athletic career does.
Got it.
I have no idea who you think I am but I am clear about how things got contentious between us. I posted that I wish the Griz defensive line would be more physical and you decided to roll in like you think somehow you’re the schoolyard bully and tell the new guy that I don’t understand the game.
You might want to go back and read this week’s game thread so you can attack the multitude of people who said the exact same thing about the defensive line while they were watching the game.
I don’t owe you an apology for anything.

AnotherHoopsStalker,
Dude, we get it, you love to sniff Hoops’s jock, but isn’t there a better way to show your infatuation with Hoops that doesn’t eat up our bandwidth? Maybe you can send him private love letters? Or offer to do his laundry?

Yes, Wearer of Green is not Dartmouth athletic hall of fame, as there isn't one, and yes being first team all-ivy is considered Dartmouth football hall of fame and gets your photo and a blurb in that area of the weight room. Do you have trouble understanding sentences?

Huh, I didn't ever look at the ISU game thread. I have no idea what your said. I rarely look at your posts. They are mostly worthless. Then, you magically start talking about me not being in the Dartmouth football hall of fame or athletic hall of fame (as there isn't one). So, a new poster several months ago, has magically gained this history? Where did I ask for an apology? You are weird, can't read, and have little or no memory. I'll see whether your posting location appears to be the same as with your prior posting name. You are a fraud.

And the Griz DL is actually pretty good and has been all season. So, you and all your posting buddies are and were wrong. Our backers are good too.
