Win At All Cost….Garza Out

Literally no mention of the criminal charges, either by Sixx (and booooyyyyy is he exciting) or the "media"

But I laughed my ass off when half way through the video the commercial for the criminal defense attorney came on. Now THAT is target marketing!!!

He made it thru the entire presentation without nodding off once. The new narcolepsy meds must be helping :thumb:

Crafty, for sure.

MSU has painted itself into quite the corner. It commented on personnel matters, then created a new policy that no action could be taken before “due-process” has played out, then fired a guy before “due-process” played out because the team lost, and didn’t fire another guy with the same charge (and more) pending when he was part of the losses.

Further, as has been discussed, ANY arrest for ANY crime where ANY coach can bail out cannot result in termination before adjudication because it will be against stated school policy. Accordingly, an assistant bball coach could hold someone up at gunpoint, get arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, get out on bail, and MSU would have to continue his/her employment. Unless they don’t win. In which case, they can be fired.

Given the above, Bobfans will cope by believing the Bobs must’ve taken a dive on the season to justify the termination once the admin realized the magnitude of its series of errors in handling these incidents.

Don't you dare say "fired." He wasn't fired, his contract was not renewed. Besides, the announcement was all about promotions. Can't make this stuff up.

Ah, yes, the ol' "You want to stay employed but I don't want to employ you anymore so I just won't renew your contract even though I could if I wanted to, so I didn't really fire you" defense. That's probably rock solid . . . in China.

There is another obvious hot-button issue at play in the different treatment of the two coaches out on bail. No use delving into it on here, but MT doesn't exactly have a sterling reputation with it, and I would definitely raise the issue if I was the outgoing DC's attorney. GRIZFNZ nailed it earlier, MSU should probably fire the OC yesterday and start over. The admin just keeps f*cking itself at every turn.

I don’t know how Vigen says that we want to go in AA different direction with our defense than tells everyone he’s promoting Daly from within. Guys a real sharp crayon that one.
