Wilson

Left wsu 2 days ago. As a high profile wr you think he would be looking to a FCS to play his senior year. UM might be a good place for him. As would other FCS teams but hopefully we atleast contact him.

The way Wilson left was pretty classless. Contacting the press to bad mouth your coach doesn't indicate you're a great guy to have around.
Besides, if he only has a year remaining, he can't go FCS. Has to have two years under the Swogger rule.

I could be wrong--- it certainly wouldn't be the first time--- but I think the two-year eligibility is a Big Sky thing, not an FCS thing. He could transfer to an FCS school, just not one of ours.

Some coach would take a gamble on him, but I sure as hell wouldn't want him in my program. He a degenerate who happens to be blessed with talent. People around WSU have been bemoaning this kids work ethic since he got there. It turns out he was also a cancer to his team. I just can't respect a guy who goes out like he did, with a press release and a lawyer.

He may get around that if what he said is true....your right complete classless to walk off a team after being made fun of...attacked and hit by your coach.......if what he said is true.

The two-year eligibility rule is an NCAA rule.

Wilson can't drop down unless he graduates from Wazzu this spring, and UM or any other FCS school offers a graduate degree that Wazzu doesn't. In any event, he'd choose MSU over UM just as the stud 6-5 receiver from UNLV did, who never plays

You are such a dipwad that it just boggles the mind

1. if he transfers, the school he transfers to has to have a grad degree in his field, it doesn't matter if WSU has it or not.

2. Davis, (the UNLV transfer) came in late and was behind the gun on the playbook, he has 3 to play 2 so he was redshirted since MSU is so stacked at receiver

uhhhh, maybe you should check the NCAA rule on transferring AFTER you've graduated. I.E. Russell Wilson: It's the Grad-Student Rule and you must enroll at a school that offers a program your previous school does not offer in order to be eligible to play right away. "As long as Wilson enrolls in a graduate program at Wisconsin that N.C. State doesn't offer, he can play in 2011." I was saying this would work for Wazzu's Wilson IF he was trying to drop to FCS BECAUSE, and IF he was already going to graduate from Wazzu (which I doubt he is), because he is a senior next year and that prohibits him from dropping down to the FCS per the NCAA rule.

Thanks for clearing up Davis though. I didn't know he was red-shirting as Big Sky Conference stats have him on the participation list for 3 games, which obviously is a mistake if he is red-shirting. I'm sure Floetkker is better anyway.

Davis hasn't played in any games

I haven't seen enough of Davis to have an opinion as to how good he is, but you are on the right track, Flotkoetter is looking pretty damn good right now

Great idea, if he can run the option read, and throw the ball. He's not likely to catch many passes though....
