Really makes you wonder what might've been last year. All indications from Decuire and everyone in the program makes it sound like Money does plan to return to the team this year, but unclear when. He's been gone for about 3 weeks now I believe. With the season starting on Monday, I think there's a chance we could see him, especially with that game at Oregon next Friday. He needs those games against bigger opponents to help his chances. If he can ball out against the likes of Oregon, Tennessee, Utah State, and San Francisco, like he did against Oregon Houston and Nevada last year, then he may have a chance. I just hope that when he does return (whenever that is), that he will be in the proper head space to play well.
Someone mentioned that with the family situation, he would perhaps transfer next year closer to home and take NIL money to do so (as he should in this case). That said, if any way he could PLAY well this year and get drafted, to me that is a better chance to provide for the littles. I sure hope things get worked out and he is able to ball to show off what he's got to the league. Where are we on that fundraiser for his family?
