Nothing about what you pointed out from my previous posts tears down the statement I made???
Good attempt at making an argument tho douche bag.
Let's see, "Douche," -- see how that works? -- you predicted that the Griz would be No. 1 because we had "battle tested kids" and "good young talent."

So, you think we ended up No. 1, eh?

When I get to the point of saying there is something just plain wrong with some posters, it's beyond passing jabs. There are full-on delusional people posting, every year, the same false baloney. They aren't even talking about the Griz. They are talking about Fantasy Football and they simply named their mythical team "the Griz."

News Flash. Despite the pomposity of your analysis and the arrogance of your predictions, we did NOT end up No. 1 in the Conference last year.

Now, curl up in a ball and go lay in a corner somewhere and whimper.

Sooo because I was optimistic because we had good returning talent, and now I'm optimistic because we have good young talent theres something wrong with me???

I say we start off the new year fresh and get rid of dbags like 75... I know a majority of Egriz would get behind that idea!
Wrong I think Griz 75 hit the nail on the head

No, the Griz will not make the FCS playoffs next year. But it's all part of a University-wide scheme to help the fanbase begin adjusting for our impending move up to the FBS, where, as we all know, 6-win seasons make it rain copious amounts of bowl game cash. We should all adjust our expectations and learn to look forward to an appearance in the "Metamucil Royal Flush Bowl" or some such tantalizing opportunity, playing at the Alamodome in front of 2,300 catatonic fans, matched up against a 5-7 (but under-appreciated) ULL Ragin' Cajuns team. Won't that be fun?

I kid. Yes, we'll go 8-4 (8-3 in FCS) and make the playoffs. We'll (undeservedly) host a game in the round of 16, win, and then get bounced in the quarterfinals by an MVFC team.

Not sure why you say that...what's the Griz record against that conference the last few years? Pretty solid I think, and they are all upper level teams in the conference.

A fair point. I didn't really give much thought to it, honestly. But chances are we'd be on the road, and our matchup would be with either a west or midwest based team. It made some sense to me when I typed it, that's all.

If we find a QB that is accurate and can move. Then convince the coach to let him play. Then develop a Don Read type short passing game. Use a game plan that is not so predictable that the opposition has to do more than defend the side line. If these things happen we have a shot. I'm putting the odds at 3 in 10 we make the playoffs.

Hahaha...I figured as much. Nobody on here has ever just spewed on here without really thinking about it! I agree, though, road would be the issue and always difficult on the road.

So, what, 10%?

This season hinges on two things: Improved O-line play and improved QB play (which hinges on improved O-line play).

So, to sum up, this season hinges on two things: Improved O-line play and improved O-line play.

How much better do you want it? Remember last year they said that this o line would be bigger and badder than the year before that well.....

The O-Line was bigger, in fact it was badder too. They played the best they could to the best of their ability I believe. However, that was not so good. Either the O-Line players must improve or the coaching must improve the players we have and I think the latter is true. I think the coaches can prepare any player with potential to be very good. Every player the griz have has potential or they wouldn't be there. Coaches need to do their jobs and get these young men ready for this level of football. If the O-Line can do what it used to do, the griz will compete for a title every year again.
This year will be very special, the griz are going to at least the semi-final game in the playoffs!

Yes

9-2

Easier sched Lose Weber add N Colorado

Only tough road game Idaho

Sac State (rebuilding)
Get msu and Sac at Home

Butler, Utah Tech, Ferris, NAU. ISU, Davis, N Colorado, PSU (Should not lose any of these 8)

One could argue the Griz are "rebuilding" as well...

Ferris State worries me. I’m getting 2003 NDSU vibes from them.

Nah. Check out there roster. They're all from Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Florida, or Texas. They don't have any Montana AA kids on the roster.

I think we are very foolish to say this team will be a 9-10 win team. We say this every single year and it rarely comes to fruition. I’m guessing 8 wins would be more realistic. The issue is one of those being a division two game doesn’t count so they would be view us a 7 win team, putting us once more on the bubble
