Will Griz players kneel during the national anthem?

I’m sure Dutch will debate with you, his father was full Irish and his mum was mixed race. Oh wait, I forgot you had him banned.

I didn’t have him banned. Just started a thread. So having Irish blood makes one knowledgeable racial discrimination in America today? I am sure the BLM leadership would be impressed with that.

You sure have a lot of views for a new poster. Ha.

What does one have to do with the other?

I find that most real new posters don't sign up and start showing egriz institutional knowledge right away. This usually shows that they are afraid to post under their regular name. This one signed up on July 29, and so far, everyone of his posts has been about Dutch. I also find that most new real posters start slow, and don't start jabbing at other posters immediately. Poke is the ghost of Dutch.

why pick on the anthem/flag?...are they really kneeling because of its founding's of white guys...just wondering?

They kneel for the anthem for the precise reason we have a seven page thread regarding it: It gets people's attention. Kneeling every time, say, a Rascal Flatts song came on the radio likely wouldn't have the same impact, no?

I see that Greg Popovich isn't kneeling.

Pop is pretty outspoken in solidarity with players. But he is also a graduate of the US Air Force Academy. He also served five years active duty.

Funny you should mention it, because I kneel for seven seconds before swinging a medieval mace at my computer screen every time a Rascal Flatts song comes up on Spotify at work. I’m like $12k in the red on monitors, not including the cost of the mace (for which I paid dearly). Nobody but reception seems to notice or care.

Edit: don’t read anything into this; I just really dislike Rascal Flatts.

On behalf of the Covid-at-risk crowd on egriz, do you mind if I ask what a Rascal Flatt is?

Rascal Flatts is a band that impersonates country music. Thankfully, I believe they just retired.

“Pop” and Kerr can go kindly fuck themselves. Any NBA player/coach bitching about the stuff going on in this country are gigantic hypocrites with their silence on China.

Oh, and Kem’s description of RF is spot ON.

Those who see masks as an attempt to control the populace aren't going to turn around and see requiring people to stand for the anthem as a control mechanism....

.....new solution!...forget the anthem!....new song will be sung!..." Proud American" will be played
assisted by small pocket flags given to all fans...problem solved! https://youtu.be/nwa03QaJNeM

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just switch stations? ;)

The manager says it has to be pop country because that’s what the dine-in guests like at this particular Chick Fil-A location. I switched stations once, and he put me back on the deep fryer for a month.

Dutch is a buddy of mine and you can deny all you want but you got him banned because you were just too weak of a debater to roll with Dutch. Very Trumpian of you mr. player rep, ban him rather then engage in discourse and you claim to be an Ivy leaguer.

Have your minions check my IP address genius. Remember that time you posted that Dutch was a “loser” and that you would tell him that in person? Let me give you a heads up mr player rep, Dutch eats lunch at least once a week at the Mo Club, usually wears a brown “Vail” baseball hat, long shorts and blundstone boots, he’s 6-3 and goes about 230, has a full on covid beard now and he’s about 20 years younger then you, you can’t miss him. Oh, and he’s seen your pic on the web so when he sees you will you tell him his mate Griz poke says hello — if you still can right after you tell him what a loser he is 8-)

Edit disclaimer: Mr. player rep (minions/mods) this post should in no way be construed or interpreted as a threat of physical violence, rather it is completely uttered and conveyed as poetic satire, after all Dutch is a fellow member of the state bar, but he did grow up in Butte

All i got out of that rambling, incoherent diatribe was that Dutch is lucky enough to be able to eat lunch at Mo Club once a week. I AM jealous....

Oh shit. My bad... worst version of life is a highway. period end of story

I am more concerned about figuring out what the fans are supposed to do. If I should kneel, I need to be told. If I kneel, I will need help getting up. Plus kneeling on concrete hurts my knees. Will there be kneeling pads in at least the high end seats? Maybe the Catholic churches could donate for this.
