I wish him the best. I have always believed he is capable of a NBA career. His injury put his progress back quite a bit. I'd love to see him on an NBA roster come October this year.

Looks like Will is the only legitimate point guard on the roster. If he plays even remotely close to how well he played in the D-league he should have a real good shot of making a squad next year. He is very similar to Raymond Felton or Ty Lawson in the aspects of size and speed. Will may even be a better finisher and shooter.

Best of Luck Will.......

Adding my best wishes to Will Cherry for an eye-catching summer league showing with the Cavs. Here's a nice story on Will from this morning's Missoulian (if it links).

I believe Dellavedova is a legitimate point guard.

Kind of cool/funny, Will had some perspective in to "who to watch" a day before it was announced he'll be with the Cavs as well.

With the Cavs making cap space in hopes to get LeBron, there may be room for Will to get on this team

For those that have NBA Network Will's game is on it Friday. I set to DVR it last night but can't recall the exact time....seemed like mid to late afternoon. Sure others on here would be interested to record it.

I set my dvr for it. I think the game starts at 5 or 6 mountain time.

The games are also available on NBA Summer League streaming.

Live streaming with unlimited access to all games & condensed game viewing on computer, iphone & pad. NBA does it right (compared to MLB).

Cherry to Lebron with Manziel watching at court side.

Nice! There is talk that Cleveland my part with Wiggins and another player to get Kevin Love. Even better chance for a guard that can play D getting on the roster

Thanks GJ for the link for the video (free HD quality and streamed well, for those wondering)!

Cherry is definitely a player that gets more impressive as the game goes on instead of getting tired and sluggish. I tuned in about halftime and almost didn't recognize Cherry at first. He's sporting a new hairdo, wearing #56, and wasn't bouncing around as much at first. By 4th quarter he had a few of his trademark bursts to the hoop. Also, had two drive-and-dish plays where he drew 2-3 players to him and found wide open three-point shooters but they both missed their shots. I think he played almost all of the 2nd half at least. Cavs win 70-68.

Same thing happened to me. I tuned in sort of late in the game, as I thought it would start later. Then I figured Cherry wasn't playing because I didn't recognize him at first due to the new 'do' and the 56 on his jersey. But he seemed to get a lot of playing time late in the game. Thanks for providing the stats too.

I just watched the 1st half on dvr. I was disappointed he got only 4 to 5 minutes. Thanks to the posts before this, now I'm looking forward to the 2nd half more.
