Why would any Griz fan root for our rival over the classy Bison?

I think he's said it under the premise of defending the 3-3-5 defensive scheme. He's said it's easier to get the rush ends and linebackers for the FCS level than it is to get the tackles and nose guards.

Ha! I can understand that. I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder, as I definitely remember swearing off going to any more games in Bozeman over how I was treated every time I ever went to a game there.
 
I actually had a lot of fun when I went to Bozeman for the Griz Cat game the MSU fans were not obnoxious at all from what I remember. I just get annoyed with the ones here on Egriz saying MSU is so much better than UM now.

That's great! Do I want the players from Montana to play well and compete hard? Yes. Do I want them to win....no. If they do win though, congrats to them, they will have earned it and nothing can take that away from them.

This is par for the course my guy. I’ve watched the brawl in Missoula every time for the last 20 or so years minus a couple games. Always have a blast. Great rivalry, great stadium, great fans.

People get too caught up in message board personas and forget these warriors make up about 1% of the fanbase.

I have a lot of Cat friends. Montana is a small state. This game is like pulling my nose hairs. Not gonna be fun either way since the Griz are home and supposed to be out recruiting NDSU and MSU. Montana kids, so I gotta root for the Cats. Then I can take truck loads of crap from Cat friends for the next twelve months. Fun. 🙄
 
I hate to break it to some of you, but I met one Griz fan in full Griz attire at our last Frisco appearance.

I also saw not one, but TWO, Griz fans in full Griz attire at our home semi-final game Sat.

Well, " Death before ❤️ for The Shi##y Kitties !!! " Cheering for the SK's is like being in the dental chair cheering for the drill before a root canal !!!
