Why? Why? Why?

As soon as Riley said, “DeCure takes the air out of the ball and the Griz slow the game down” I knew we were doomed. And sure enough we lost the game. That comment came with the Griz up 10 with under 5 minutes to play. Why, why, why Travis after loosing so many games in the last 3 minutes with that philosophy you continue to execute that same old BS game plan? The Griz were on a roll and the Bears were on their heels and we could have kept executing our offense and put them away.
In sports, as in war, if you have your opponent down, you go for the jugular. The handwriting was on the wall.

And yet it's "not getting stops" and "not holding them under 70" mentioned in the postgame.

It's the "walk it up turn it over walk it up turn it over walk it up turn it over". Let's not score 5 more to get to 83 when we're up 78 68 with 4:30 left and the ball! Let's go to OT at 82 82. Let's score 4! Lets walk it up and turn it over and forget how we just made a 15 point run on these guys these past few minutes!

The most nervously coached team with a 10 point lead in America!

Hey, it's the inbred coaching philosophy for both the BB and football programs here at Montana. Bobby coached the same way in both the Furman and NDSU games....... getting a lead late, then playing not-to-lose when a single 1st down would secure the win. The result was OT and a chance to lose. Must be a qualification to be a head coach at Montana.
