Why were you pissed the Griz were 4-4?

It's incredible that despite how bad the Griz looked much of the past 3 weeks, North Dakota is the only game they clearly had no chance to win.

That’s because you dislike Hauck so it skews your perspective and you are incapable of being objective. The griz played very well today. No question about that.

to be clear, i thought the other team, suu, played confused and disorganized football. the griz played closer to normal football, with some great plays interspersed. that would indicate that the griz coaching was better than the southern utah's. with the caveat that it is hard to expect your 4th string qb to come in and do great after a four year hiatus.

Does the NCAA still do that nonsense, where you can take years off for religious reasons? I remember watching my buddies on the great Griz cross country teams in the late 80s having to run against 27 year olds who were some how Juniors. Thought you had 4 to play 5?

I’m an old fart. I still have 4 to play 5.

If a player is not enrolled in school, no eligibility is lost.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I had thought it was from the time you first enrolled, you had four to play five. Good heads up, appreciate it. I'm surprised more athletes don't take advantage of that. It would be fun to see some of the NBA 1 and Done guys who washed out in the bigs come back and play college hoops while they get their degree.

The GRIZ played very well today (2nd quarter excluded). They looked every bit a playoff team.

That said, argh has a point. SUU -- and here I'm trying to be as kind as possible -- is pathetic. They'd lose by 46 to Drake. That's not to take away from the way the GRIZ dominated for 3 quarters. They did what superior teams are supposed to do for a change and absolutely ass whooped suu. But we do have to call a spade a spade. And suu is a really, really shitty spade.

Clear you missed the UC Davis game - or only caught the first half. 46-0 in a half leaves little chance to win.

It's clear that you think having a 21-3 halftime lead gives no chance to win a game. Dumb.

That's not accurate. 5 to play 4, from when first enrolled in school. If under 10 credits, or 10 and under, you can be a grey shirt and not use eligibility. The exceptions for extension are medical redshirt, religious mission, military service, special circumstances like Jimmy Wilson, and I think pregnancy.

One word....

Fumbles

Without them Griz are 8-1 or 7-2
and the N. Dakota game started so crappy, who knows how that would have turned out.

PR is correct.

Every human has 5 years to play 4. That clock does not start until you enroll FULL-TIME.

You could get your college degree all part-time and still have 5 to play 4 remaining!!!!!!!!!!!!

without turnovers, the teams that lost to the griz would've won, for sure

Yeah, it's like saying "Well if Marshall had just covered Erhardt" or "If Captain Whats-His-Name wasn't hobbled for Furman"

Just humans? Seems a bit discriminatory to me. I thought we had moved beyond this crap.

Fumbles are either good plays by the defense or bad plays by the offense. Hypothetically dismissing them is preposterous. No different than dismissing TD passes, KO returns, etc. Every play can impact the outcome of the game. The Griz are 5-4 and there are no ifs, ands or buts about it.
