Love the optimism, but I'd change the title of the thread to Why the Griz Could Win. I'm pretty sure the Griz are underdogs in this one. Is that disloyal or just realistic?? :?:

Like most people over 40, I've been burned by false hope and optimism in my life. We all remember that youthful, idealistic view of love and marriage. Over time, Cupid and his arrow disappear and dating becomes more clinical - check the resume, Google-search all candidates, consider pros and cons of potential partners' viewpoints and histories....

Sure, it's logical. Makes sense to become more "realistic" about things that excite us when we are young.

No, Sr. Grizizen, you're not being disloyal to the Griz by being realistic. But you ARE being disloyal to that youthful, excited, Griz-magic-believing fan still inside of all of us. Why not keep him alive? He's fun! And he's often right!

My theory: approach love, cooking and Grizzly Football with wreckless abandon!

Throw logic and caution to the wind. KNOW that we are going to win!!

Love your perspective. I"ll try it. :thumb:

Not gonna lie. I actually really enjoy saying ‘I told you so.’ ;)

Yep. It is a lot harder to be positive than negative, but there haven't been many bestsellers sold touting the benefits of a negative attitude. I'd say you da man, but you aren't. :thumb:

Positive moments have been few and far between with this team in the past 8 years. Yesterday was definitely one.
