Why not sell tickets earlier for Dec. 2 game v.s. Delaware??

Griztix website down and not answering phone. Great...... I guess, I should correct that. Typical.....

Tickets now available to all.

But, WTF on not being able to select a seat (like normal). I don't want "best available" and then get shoved into a corner. I know of season tickets in the middle that are available. Why can't I get the map to look around like a normal game?

Not that it matters to me this game as I was gifted a ticket. But this will cause phone calls to discuss and get better tickets from many people.

Griztix - making it harder for themselves, one season at a time.

This has got to be the most frustrating thing in the world. I know the people who sit next to me and in front of me are not going to any playoff games. They also didn't want to buy their tickets and transfer them to me, so now I'm on the phone and I'll be damned if I'm not gonna wait all day to get tickets near me. What a fucking joke.............end rant.

I came on here to rant but I see it's already a chorus! I did get the renewed season seats via email this morning as promised but I also wanted to try some different seats by a friend of mine.

As mentioned, you used to be able to select specific seats and that is now gone.

And of course all phone lines are down. :protesst:

I'm happy I just need 2 but what a pain in the ass. I imagine there are plenty of people in your boat that are wanting to purchase more tickets next to the ones they already have. Why the heck can't you choose available seats like every other ticket site in the world allows?

I am unable to get on the Griztix website to purchase tickets. It says "unable to process request". I am also not able to get someone on the phone. It says "Unable to complete transfer". I will put in an additional 15 minutes trying to purchase tickets and then I am done. I have been trying since 8:30 am.

I just purchased my tickets. I was not able to select specific seats. You can pick areas you want to sit it, but not able to see what seats remain.
I picked West Side best available - it defaulted to section 128/Row 2. When I got my tickets via text, it was section 121/Row 20. WTF

I am done. I tried for 1 solid hour. Website down and phone lines down. How convenient. No wonder they don't sell out. I will watch from home and have more fun anyway !!

Exactly the point, why wait until Wednesday before the game to figure out these problems when just about everyone knew there would be problems.
Down the road they have a sell out, you could pick your seats, transactions were smooth and they started selling over a week ago. I know several people who are not Griz regulars who would have bought tickets a week ago. Sigh

:?

The seat selection is now available, but I don't think it's fully working, unless they've sold about 22,000 seats already.

Helping some coworkers buy tickets, and the seat selection option is finally available. Selected the seats they wanted, added to cart and when the cart came up it was different tickets. LOL, maybe it is because multiple people are trying to buy same tickets? In any event, was able to get some extra tickets for co-workers. Go Griz

Looks like the kinks are slowly being worked out.

Update: after being on hold for 1 hour and 7 minutes, I got through on the phone. For those saying the phone lines were down, I think they have about 8 people answering thousands of calls, so you might have to wait a bit. With that said, the gal I spoke to was awesome, pulled up my account, found tickets available right in front of me, purchased with my card on file, and boom got my tickets. She did say a bunch of people were having issues with the seat selection aspect online for some reason and they were trying to fix it, but she was awesome about the ordeal and I spoke to her for about 2 minutes is all. Thank God they have some awesome people working in the Adams Center.

These kinks could have been worked out last week! The UM ticket office remains a joke. Seems they invent ways to be as inefficient as possible.

Someone yesterday asked if anyone wouldn't attend game due to tickets not being sold until today. Appears the answer is a loud yes.......probably several hundred.

After the above posts that the ability to choose seats was available, I went in to see what was available. No seats between the 30s on both sides of the field, not even singles. There is no mathematical possibility that is accurate.

It’s got to be some toggle switch in the dark recesses of the control room (Switch off Season Ticket Hold) that someone forgot to flip.

Never had an issue with. I received my tickets via email this morning and I printed them out. No problems here....

I had 7 tickets banged out by 835am...The thing I did notice was that WAY more season ticket holders must have scooped up their tickets, because the "Best Available" weren't as good as they usually are, this time of year. That's probably a good sign...
