I’m pretty sure every single Cat or Giz game every broadcasted on Max Media has been available on FTA. Every Cat or Griz game I’ve ever watched on Max Media has always been on the same satellite (AMC 16), and probably even the same coordinates ( I just do a blind scan so don’t know for sure, but the APP/UM game was at 12019/H/12999).

I know MSU used to advertise those coordinates in its weekly game day notes. I can't say if that was ever a practice of UM

I know you probably don’t give much to the opinion of a bobcat, but I like Max Media. Every game has been available, living out of state, and it’s all in HD. Better quality than I remember anything on KPAX. Unfortunately, the commentators probably aren’t quite the Griz homers they had on KPAX.

AMEN. By the way, Bigskytv actually has been pretty damn good the last few years. After they got the bugs worked out, there is not much to complain about now (as I knock on wood).

What I don't have is a way to watch the game on the TV where I live. So what you're saying is I should be grateful for what you have? Guess it's streaming or nothing.

Probably discussed before, but why Max Media??? You can watch the game if you live in Montana or Arkansas. Not clear why the U. went with such bad coverage.

I will take maxmedia over KPAX every day and twice on Saturday. Not having to listen to Hermes is worth it to me. Byers was not up to speed just yet for the ASU game, but he will probably be better next time. The picture is better and they do a better job of following the ball than KPAX. But most of all, no Hermes.

Ron Davis of KBOW Radio in Butte will call the play-by-play, former (1988-90) Grizzly quarterback Grady Bennett will provide the in-booth color, and Anna Cole will be the sideline reporter.

Dominic Sheldon, sports guy on the Missoula based Fox News at 9:00 that airs in Butte and Bozeman, said tonight that he was "heading over to the Griz game this Saturday to help out" (whatever that means) to his Anchor co-hort. I hope he doesn't have much of an on air role for the game, because he is as dry as cotton-mouth. No passion or excitement for football at all. He is from Boise (couldn't give a rats ass about the Griz, in fact it appears he like the cats better even), and he likes soccer, volleyball and tennis better than any other sport. His face is dead-pan, he looks like he could go to sleep at any moment. He better check his pulse, he may be dead. Appears to be a really nice guy, but no passion at all for sports broadcasting. Maybe he holds it all inside, but it cerainly doesn't show. Sorry. But that's my opinion. :twocents:

This is not being a homer, but personally I like Ron Davis. I think most listeners will enjoy him. I like listening to his morning sports radio show.
