Why does UM's bench cross their legs &

It's a game. What they do is fun. And that's precisely the point.

And if it bothers a few cat fans along the way, well, I guess that's a nice bonus.

I could be wrong about this, but wasn't it just last year that either the Sportscenter guys or CBS game announcers were loving how involved and passionate the Griz bench was during tournament time last year?

But you are right, that is certainly embarrassing for the team, and disrespectful to the players on the court. Cheering your buddies on should be against the rules.

I noticed this last year, when there was a great play, the bench would literally explode, some of the best sports pictures last year were of the bench, coming off the bench. I noticed in particular it was the same three that just were all over when something good happened on the floor; Gregory was one in particular.

Leadership won't be a problem after Will and Mathias move on. Next year Jamar takes on more. Gregory is one hell of leader too. Deshields, looks pretty natural as a leader as well. Dunn will take on a role similar to Cherry did when he was a Freshman. Riley Bradshaw is a good leader also. The question is how quickly will he be contributing. The GRIZ are loaded at guard.

Hard to believe just 4 to 5 years ago, the GRIZ were looking for guys to step forward to be leaders. Now, there is an abundance of leadership.

i like it. it's a game. it's supposed to be fun. winning helps too. and right now um is doing both. love guys on the bench having a good time despite not playing as much as they'd probably like and cheering on their teammates.

Incidently, I went to the weber board today. It's like the Mayan calendar event struck only in Ogden. I thought they had a proud basketball fanbase. Where the hell is everyone there??

Dude, i just checked their board haha pretty funny reading some of the complaining about fouls called! Like they didnt watch the game or something and see our guys being put to the floor on almost every dribble drive haha...and they forgot about all the travelings lol...that was entertaining! Little fucking cry babies!
 
Yeah Beck, like any board, they have their share of idiots. But they have some really good posters who can talk basketball without it always turning into a smack/dick measuring contest as well. Just not sure where all those guys are this week.
