Why does UM have so many clueless and unknowledgeable fans?

Anyone who thinks 8-2 with mostly blowouts is better than 10-0 with some close games, you aren’t alone. Leon Costello’s committee shows they agree with you. It’s not going to matter November 22nd what anyone’s opinions are on 11-0 vs 9-2 it will come down to what happens on the field that day.

I hate to admit but with how beat up Davis is the cats will pound them into oblivion.

How about common opponents? ISU and EWU? Cats blew them both out and Griz squeak by. You should be worried about the Cats.
 
Hoops let me ask you some serious questions. Why would me pass on 2nd down with 3+ minutes left in the game and stop the clock? If we would have run the ball EWU would have taken their last time out or we could have run 40 seconds off the clock. We also passed on 3rd down and we didn't make it but they used their last time out. Why would we then run a fake punt rather than punting the ball to the 10 and making them drive 90 yards rather than 60 which also would have left the clock running until the ball was either fair caught or downed by us? Last of all I said to the people sitting around me why don't we have someone in the middle of the field on the onside kickoff because the way we lined up that is where I would have kicked it. I'm not trying to start an argument but do want to know what your thoughts are and I do respect your opinion.

The Griz do have someone in the middle of the field assigned to stop that very onside kick. You should ask: why do players ever make a mistake.

I don't know on most of your questions, but I assume they wanted a first down and thought a pass was better than a run. And on the fake punt, I assume they assumed they would convert.

I'll ask you a few.

Why would UM go for it on 4th down early in the game (and pick it up) and not kick a FG? Why would UM then go for a 2-pt conversion early in the game?

Why does every play not work?

Why didn't this crew of refs know what defensive pass interference is? The refs making those calls were pathetic. Truly awful. Even my wife said the refs were horrible. As you know, when a wife, mother or grandmother comments on the game, they are always right and it helps prove the point being made by the guy who is posting.

Yes, that's my opinion. My opinion and observation is that the Griz have alot of clueless and unknowedgable fans. I didn't "call out" anyone. I made a general observation. My thread title is exactly what my question was. Why don't you answer my question, however you want. What do you see as the insult? Do you think every Griz fan is knowledgeable about football? I don't. Why do you have to come at me? If I offended anyone, I am not sorry. Are you not aware that this is the internet?
 
Why should we be worried about MSU? Even with a loss in the brawl we will still have a home playoff game and likely a first round bye.

I have zero issue with throwing the ball on second down. Fake punt was odd. Poor execution for the onside.
