Love Pflu, but I was under the impression (from someone on here a while back) that due to the terms of his settlement with UM, Robin can never work for the University system again. Maybe somebody knows for sure, but I remember seeing something like that on here a number of years ago.

My understanding is Pflu is unhireable.
Also likely true. I don't think there's any world where Pflu is ever on this coaching staff again.

There's certainly nothing in the agreement that says that. He didn't sue UM. He got about what he was owed under the contract, perhaps slightly less. Why we he be unhireable? Not to say he would ever get a chance to be hired at UM.

Okay, good to know.

As for being unhireable, I think it has more to do with UM not wanting anything to do with him than any issue of his own.

Bigger question is why would he ever WANT to come back to this place? It Literally ruined his career.

I talked to him a few years ago, and he told me he would do anything to be able to be back on our sideline as a coach. He loves UM. Wanted to stay here as long as possible when he was HC. This was a while ago, but he doesn’t seem like the type of guy to hold a grudge at all. I think if he had an opportunity to come back, he would love it, assuming he didn’t have a better offer somewhere like with his son.

Unfortunately, I don’t think he’ll ever get it.

Well I gotta say that really really surprises me. But no, he won’t ever get it so it’s a moot point, really.

He's an amazing guy. Definitely my favorite Griz coach.

We fucked up incredibly by scapegoating and firing him.

I liked him a ton, but man...I friggin' loved Joe Glenn. He was just a fun head coach...and he won a few games as well. :)

Yes he won a lot and proved could win the big game....and wasn't an ass to the media.....neither was Read by the way.

What happened to Robin should be a crime. He had this program set on a trajectory that would've been so much fun to watch unfold. Great offensive mind and even better person.

Pflu is just another of the usual suspects. If Bobby isn’t going to make some major changes in his own philosophy & move it into something in this decade it won’t make any difference.

It doesn't matter one ounce who and how the offense is ran by, if our players can't execute whatever the hell they call.
And what I am seeing is very piss poor execution!

And if the players have Frontier Conference level talent, it’s even worse.

And I wish you were wrong with that statement, but that is how a great deal of them are playing like
