Who will finish in 3rd place for 2011-12?

most weber fans assume wsu and griz will be top 2, do you agree/disagree? who is the next best team?

Hmmmm, that is a good question. I think you are right about the 1-2 finish in no particular order. I think the Griz's success all depends on how they adjust to life without Qvale. As for 3rd? My guess will be NAU. No real reasoning behind it other than I just think they are going to be good this year.

There's a great pre-season hoops discussion going on over there. A lot of insightful, thoughtful dialogue with some interesting "outsider" views of some Big Sky programs that could/should have an impact this year (MSU, EWU in particular, with some hints at what the Big Sky will be like in two years with UND and SUU in the fold). What I like best about the thread is the high respect from all commenters toward all Big Sky programs (with the possible exception of SAC & ISU). Good September reading for a hoops freak like me.

It will be interesting to watch how msu does with all of the JC guys they brought in. If they are the real deal they should have a shot at that 3rd spot.
