Who still thinks TM is our best QB option?

Years ago I got to know Don Read and talk to him a bit. He told me what he wanted in a QB was the ability to throw a 15-20 yard sideline fade over the corner and in front of the safety. If he had that guy he would beat you. DD and Brian Ayhat could do this, and do it well. So could Ochs and Drew Miller.

Well that throw usually isn't intercepted if thrown accurately. If you can throw that throw then you can make all the throws to be an above avg qb on college football.
McKinney has never made those throws......................

I haven't seen the AB kid, but it appears that SSH can make that kind of pass, Mckinney nope.....

Brezczek is better than any QB on the roster.

I admit that I never played football so the only advice I have for the Griz if they don't like losing is to play better. Oh yea and play AB at QB. Either way I'll be there every Saturday.

I think he is the best we got at the moment. At the end of the game when ND was keying on our backs I think TM ability to run would've been helpful. Not taking anything away from Shay or the game he played. Dropped passes killed us. We aren't good enough to win when we make mistakes. Today we made many and right now we aren't getting better week to week.

What were the dropped passes today?

Henderson, think hardy as well

Henderson's play was considered a defensive break up not a drop. I watched the replay and the DB made a play on the ball just enough to prevent him from pulling it in. After the over the shoulder catches & line drive KO grabs. I have to give Henderson the benefit of the doubt (this time). Best young skill position player we have bar none!

I would be interested to see him get a few reps at CB given the performance in our secondary. Please find a physical snot knocking Saftey and a couple corners that will come up and hit. Too much finesse in our secondary.

Depends on what play is being called. Hyphen is a marginal passer. He did well, but threw some wobbly floaters that should have been intercepted. Execution at crucial times was not there. He threw one gem to Henderson in the corner of the end zone. Play calling at times was questionable when he was in, particularly third downs. The clock stops on incomplete passes.

McKinney has not proven he can throw long. At certain times throws down into the dirt (rubber). Is a good runner that should keep it more often. Execution at crucial times is not there. He was moving the ball with the running game. Play calling at times was questionable when he was in, particularly on third downs. The clock runs on running plays.

Ah Yes... the General Pattons of your time. I'll give you "In Tune" with reality and funnier than shit... I honestly thought you were about 15-20 of the "personalities" on EGriz, Alphie, and just posted under AKA's to stir the shit. Am I wrong??

There is no easy answer. First decision is what kind of offense do you want to run? Then decide who you want to run that offense. TM is the best option for the type of offense we WANT to run. SSH is not. Now if you want to go to a more BH style of offense then SSH is obviously the better choice.

And is SSH really the answer? He had FOUR chances late in game to give us a two possession lead. The offense failed all 4 times. Could TM have done better? I think he could've in that situation.

Bottom line is we need a qb that can fit adapt, and I'm not seeing it with any of them.
