Who still thinks Hauck will get the job?

Hey! Lets protest some stuff or whatever!!! After that we can pat each other on the back and say "good job!" and have hot tea and crumpets!

Clay Christian’s name hasn’t been mentioned in this gummed up process. Is he involved? Helping? Hurting? Surely someone knows....

Coach Hauck is way too strong of personality for KH. I suspect Haslam knows this and is afraid of the consequences if he hires Bobby Hauck.

In short: Yes, this is an important decision, but there's more at stake here than football.

So many people are not realizing that this is more than football. Surely we could have seen a negative reaction coming from a mile away!

...and you continue to scratch your collective heads as to why student population continues to drop. #1- get some degrees people can make money at. #2 don’t ever think BH didn’t promote a sexist/rape/hate culture. He should go work for 45 #notmypresident.

I seriously hope you're drunk. BH PROMOTED a sexist/rape/hate culture? WTF?

Well one positive thing about this whole scenario would be the Kent has the FREAKING TEXTBOOK GUIDE ON WHAT NOT TO DO IN THIS SITUATION.....thanks to the shit that literally just went down in Tennessee....

I suggest NOT doing what they did Kent.....but the longer we wait, the longer it seems it may be happening.

The MOB is growing.....lets stop the sharpening of their pitchforks!

Yep, the potential for negative responses was as plain as the nose on Hauck's face.

UT has a raging dumpsterfire on their hands, you situation is comparable, but minuscule in relation. It would be interesting if KH selects someone not on your radar now and the fizz fanbase goes nuts for not having bobby.

Wow...just wow.

I agree with the wow, just wow. Who cares about the facts, this is what we, the Twitter Mob, want.

Who cares if zero sexual assault occurred while Hauck was the coach. He caused it anyway. Wonder if Glenn could get hired. He was the coach right before Hauck.

So, UM and Haslam are supposed to allow the Twitter Mob, most of whom don't support Griz football or attend games, or donate to athletics, to pick the new football coach. UM/Haslam can't give in to crap like this.

My view is that Haslam may end up further causing the decline of Griz football, and losing his job, if Hauck isn't hired. There just can't be anyone other than Hauck in better position to get the program back towards the top as quickly as he could. Plus, the financial support and excitement would be back.

Oh well, I'm glad I still have Dartmouth and Stanford to follow and support, if Griz football doesn't pick up some steam.

Do you think there is a potential for a defamation lawsuit here? The petition seems particularly horrific and inhumane. Obviously inaccurate, and quite damaging and agenda driven.
