Who still thinks Hauck will get the job?

at some point people need to be held responsible for their own actions. How in the hell is it a coach's fault if a player gets in trouble. Makes no sense to me. Is he supposed to have them all sleep over at his house and tuck them in at night? Jesus Christ these peope piss me off. So is my boss responsible for any legal trouble i get into? Because they recruited me to work at my job are they responsible for every other aspect of my life? No. They are responsible for my production at the office. To insist the the players only acted up because bobby was the coach is the stupidest argument I've ever heard.

I'm sure others have mentioned it elsewhere, but I'm wondering if our incoming President, Seth Bodnar, has been given an opportunity to weigh in on the search and decision and has expressed disapproval (or hesitation, at the very least) at the idea of hiring Bobby Hauck. Regardless of his potential to bring success to the football program, hiring a good ol' boy like Bobby, with the perceived baggage he brings, seems counterintuitive at a time when the University is trying to escape its demons, rebrand itself, improve its appeal, and win back defectors and detractors.
Additionally, with the deeply entrenched territorialism at the University, the task of building a collaborative campus-wide culture will already be a difficult task for Bodnar. Perhaps he realizes that having a guy like Bobby, who has a reputation for doing things however the hell he wants to do them, would be counterproductive to the bigger picture. I think hiring Hauck would send a mixed message from the University, at the very least. You can't say "things are going to be different" out one side of your mouth while announcing "things are going to be just like they used to be" out the other.
In short: Yes, this is an important decision, but there's more at stake here than football.

Who the hell knows how this plays out at this point. Sounds like coaching carousal across college football right now. I heard today Dennis Erickson made a pitch to OSU to come back with a list of coordinators and assistants that included Johnathan Smith. Also he J Smith interviewed with OSU for the head coaches job!
One would think that UM might at least indicate who they have interviewed! They did that for Hauck.. Why not anyone else? Or did they do it to see what overall reaction would be? They certainly got a reaction from the Crapzooulian!
