Who stays? Who goes?

We have two new players coming in, and only one senior, so who goes and who stays?? We are also currently recruiting players for next year so my guess is that at least two current team members will leave the program. My hunch is Chase Adams and Eric Hutchinson...others??

I don't think hutch is leaving, that would leave us too thin at the post. Maybe Chase, but really, I don't know. If anyone feels cheated of their chance on the floor this year it would probably be Autry and that would be my guess. I sure hope he doesn't leave. I think with him, Cherry, and Jamar out on the court this could be a VERY exciting team to watch the next few years.

I thought that this thread was going to be a vote on obnoxious eGriz posters - after the Griz Mens' BB losses...

My bad. Carry on.

With our depth and guard and small forward now, I am thinking Adams, and maybe Autry might not be here next season. I just do not see us having room to keep Adams. As for Autry, the way we managed his playing time, just leads to more questions, than answers. Then again, a freshman that recently lost his father would be difficult for anyone to deal with at his age. Maybe we got as much from him as we could with the circumstances at hand.

As for bigs, unless Tinkle has been able to keep a big secret here, I see no reason for any of our returning bigs to leave, nor us to let any of them leave. Hutchison looks like a banger, rebounder, runs the court okay, and defender we could use. Reader, runs the court very well, great offensive potential, athletic, and looks like a complete package as for potential. Selvig's beefing up, and willingness to change for the team will be huge for the GRIZ. Ward gives us solid rebounding, improving defense (still has a way to go), good scoring, and great spark plug. Solid players with good potential here, but more depth would be nice.

Also consider Jamar and Steward can score from the post when we need it, rebound and defend well, helps reduce the urgency of bigs.

Plus, this kind of roster leans toward more pressure defense and quicker pace. I have a feeling Tinkle has no problem adjusting to his roster at hand.
