Stubbins, no reason to continue this discussion at this point, but, since you asked, grizrule, who posted that he was sitting "20 to 30 yards" away, did and does not know what started the incident nor how it ended. He does not know who the kid(s) were. He observed only the middle part of the incident. I suppose the middle part may or may not have looked bad. Even if it did look bad from afar, describing only the middle part, without knowing or including the beginning and the end, is very misleading.
