Who is playing offensive tackle in 2026….

I know we still have a few days left to get players in to be here for spring ball…and it looks like the Griz coaches have worked to get players transferred in for areas of need (especially safety) - and we all know they might be contributors or not, this fall.

But the biggest area of need that I still see is offensive tackle. Our top 4 have all graduated or left due to the portal. The transfer from South Carolina could work, but not sold with height/weight. Losing the offensive tacklefrom San Diego to Fresno down the stretch - who was an all league player - really hurt.

With losing that 2nd or summer transfer option now - which has really helped the last few years to fill needs after spring ball evaluations - who do you see playing there on current roster besides the one transfer? It doesn’t matter if Gilman, Ah Yat, Davis, etc are weapons…if we are struggling at tackle to protect and block.

Thoughts? What am I missing?

Watch out for some of the young guys on the roster. They can really play

I think Austin Buehler is ready to step up as a redshirt Junior. Then I think between Bowen and some of those young ones like Hyatt or that S. Carlina transfer will be in the mix. Freitas I think stays at guard.
