If They give him a extension than I'm tapping out. Way to many other things to do with my time then follow a program that is managed by people who clearly don't care about winning.
Can I have your season tickets?
Good ridences. Don't need band wagon Griz fans anyway.

We know that Haslam won't fire Stitt this year but there has to be a fall guy for the debacle that was the 2016 football season. So I was wondering who you all think it will be? I'm guessing niekamp he is the obvious choice and certainly deserves to be gone.
Ya cus 30 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 12 QB hurries, 5 passes defensed, and 4 forced fumbles by your starting three LB's while they were 1st, 2nd, and 5th on the team in tackles are just awful numbers that of course come from awful coaching by a first year coach in the system that's in its first full year of implementation.

:thumb: Our linebackers are a strength (Niekamp is their position coach). Another poster said OL coach...with the best talent for the OL being the players that were redshirting this year based on recruiting and also comments on twitter from players (many feel that some of them would have helped this year but playing them would have raised even more anger from this board. They need to prove themselves though.) Germer has proven himself.

If I HAD to pick one it would be Schann or Hall. Giving up the big deep receptions was our achilles heel this year. Most noticeably the NAU and Cal Po games(Eastern is a given). Of course that falls more on Seymore and his system of putting too much one on one pressure on the DB's. Yamen's decline from last year was very disturbing too.

Letting a true freshman QB run wild on QB draws up the middle and getting beaten badly by an offense in its 0th full year of implementation. 368 yards rushing net. A series of crippling penalties by the middle LB. Defense in total disarray - on Semore, not Niekamp.

There doesn't have to be a fall guy if one is in denial that there is a problem. So Stitt can be extended to take the pressure off him next year. This could happen; there is a lot of denial.

Strong rumors that there is extension talks for Stitt.
If he doesn't make the playoffs next year, he's done.

I am not so sure about that if he signs an extension this offseason. With the current financial status of the University, convincing people to pay 2 head coaching salaries for a season will be difficult.
That's quite the gamble, the University makes a lot of money off ticket sales...

So?

1. Hire an OC
2. Remove Niekamp from ST duty
3. Put Stitt in charge of ST

Keep them all with their current contracts and reconsider the situation at this time next year.

You have to fire someone to hire an outside OC.

25,000 * X =

Those are numbers you can't take for granted.

Why's that? What coach is on staff that would not have been if there was already an OC in place?

Behapp....why Stitt as ST coach??
He's a smart guy
Seems to be something that he should be able to handle and it's important.
He can still be in charge of HC duties during the game.

also - IDK, it sounded good when I wrote it :)

Also numbers that don't mean much if looking to buy out a head coach.

There is a limit to number of coaches.

You maybe right just wait till next year and fire them all at once after stitt 's contract runs out.

Strong rumors that there is extension talks for Stitt.
Now is the time to lock him in for a few more years :thumb:

It appears that is exactly what School of Mines did for fifteen years.
