Who are the best FCS players in the nfl

Currently or all-time?

Some more from FCS:
-Vincent Jackson (Northern Colorado)
-Jared Allen (Idaho State)
-Victor Cruz (UMass)
-Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Tennessee State)
-Robert Mathis (Alabama A&M)
-Adam Vinatieri (South Dakota State)
-Rashean Mathis (Bethune-Cookman)
-Miles Austin (Monmouth)
-Ryan Fitzpatrick (Harvard)
-Randy Moss (Marshall)
-Jerry Rice (Mississippi Valley State)
-Steve McNair (Alcorn State)
-Walter Payton (Jackson State)

All Time? Why not just go to the NFL HOF? It's a virtual "Who's who" of 1AA or FCS players.

You got Payton and Rice. Also

Mel Blount
John Stallworth
Jackie Slater
Willie Brown
Charlie Joiner
Ken Houston
Buck Buchannon
Aneas Williams(sp?)
Deacon Jones
Howie Long

Just to name a few.....

Carson Wentz

Yes, because he's done so much in the NFL! Send him to Canton! And on the third day God created Carson Wentz!

Ginger me timbers!

Just out of curiosity, did you habitually get your little ass kicked by a red-headed kid when you were young?

Were you born without a sense of humor, or did you slowly lose it over time?

I'd put Mike Person on that list.

Not if you talk to Falcons fans...They hated him last year, even though he was thrown into a starting spot he never played before in the Pros. I think he did great for having 2 weeks to learn how to play center in the NFL

Currently man. But you left of Ladanian Off your list. I thin TCU was fcs when he was drafted

Nope. TCU was member of Southwestern Conference for years.

TCU has never been FCS or 1-AA

Other nominees:
Justin Bethel, 2012 draftee, 3x pro bowl, 2x first team all-pro

Cortland Finnegan, NFL since 2006, all-pro 1st team and pro bowler

Can we talk about how impressive it is that Brandon Fisher is already coaching a secondary in the NFL 4 years after playing. Seems to me he'll be a head coach eventually at a very young age based on this.

I think he's had a little help[emoji57]

Maybe he would've done it his own. Either way he's holding his own and that's saying something.

The Southwest Conference was no longer in existence when Tomlinson was playing for TCU. For the second time, they were in the WAC.

Jesus, I am being a real asshole with all of these facts..all tone 'er down..

Sure maybe he had some help, but you could also argue its an advantage that he grew up around the game eating, sleeping, and breathing football
